You aren’t a terrorist sympathiser, no, but your club is owned by a regime that thinks murder and rape is okay, And, that’s what’s scary, a bloke who is decent and goes to the game, defending their club, because of how long they’ve been going, rather than criticising the ownership of the team.
And, I’m not the same. I would never have gone again.

I have never, and will never, agree with what happens in their country. I will disagree with anyone who does, although I’ve never met one yet. I do criticise the owners. I know of a few who haven’t gone back since the takeover, the vast majority, have.

I have great respect for those that haven’t gone back, I don’t necessarily want to criticise those who have gone back, even though in my head, I know it’s wrong, but it’s their team (though a better choice might be made) so their conscience and who am I to judge x

I don’t know if you “do” twitter but you don’t have to spend long on there to see how some fans have become experts on Middle Eastern politics and Saudi Arabia and will jump on any negativity. I have actually seen fans defend the killing of Khassoghi, the bombing of Yemen and the recent beheadings. See king of Northumbria and Barry j Ingram - both have been on a boil wash. Likely decent fellas but have since gone all in with the Saudis. They are not alone.

I don’t do Twitter mate, I live in the real world. Bunch of self opinionated whoppers on there. Me and my red snd white mates get on the same as we always have. I haven’t changed at all since the takeover, same opinions as I’ve always had. I honestly don’t know of any of my black and white mates defending anything the Saudis do. Believe that if you want.
I do believe though, there’s been a truce between Yemen an Saudi for two months now. Long May it continue.

I know what you mean, of course I do, and I also respect the decision of the ones who don’t go now, although there’s only one out of fifty I go with.
I’ve been supporting Newcastle for a long time, it’s in my blood and nothing will change that, and hopefully still alive when the Saudis have gone.
