Saw my cousin today, lovely lad, first time in ages. Archetypal Durham mag. Wanted Liverpoo to lose, hates Klopp, because how the hell did he get manager of the year after wor Beheddies performance. He really is a lovely bloke too, didn’t have the heart to pull him up. Congratulated us too. Like I said Durham mag, hearts not really in it.

They literally held a mock funeral when Ashley renamed the stadium, now they are practically begging the Saudis to change it. Amazing what a few quid does to people.

Dan - the Linkedin post actually explains a lot. He's done well for himself and the adulation he receives from the mags for "getting them" fills that void in his life. What easier way to get 50k extra twitter followers than to "get" the mags. Pure strategic decision by him to back the mags as they may be the next big team.
