Thinking about the Worm.

How about lines or zones representing
Last year's final ST sales (25,200)
Last year's average (30,847, main season only)

starting point 22,500 (over 22k as announced by Club during Monday), then 24,639 (opening tracker) then 08:30ish data pull as per usual.

Excellent work mate 👏👏👏

I do think we are overestimating the numbers though, the club announced we have over 22k season tickets on Monday prior to sale and and by 9pm the trackers showed 24.6k, I would doubt we sold 2.5k in 4 hours, if you remember the Sheff Wed game, tickets kept appearing in the lower bowl, sometimes in big numbers especially in the south stand. The club probably don't normally release them to avoid overcrowding, so i would think there are still about 1-1.5k tickets unreleased. Also I would imagine the club would announce when we hit 25k.

I genuinely hope I am wrong though, certainly wouldn't be the first time.

You are correct. We know that the tracker is over inflating the sales as people have stated on here. At some point in the near future I am expecting the seats that are showing as sold that actually haven’t been to be made available. At this point we can take the difference between the new and old numbers and adjust the previous days downwards by this amount. We are probably looking about a 2.5k reduction in this week’s totals.

It is not perfect, but is a good indicator of sales each day, rather than exact numbers.

Even a league up, to have ST sales running ahead of total average crowd seems incredible, and unlikely at this stage I'd suggest.
Your miss reading it.
The yellow zone is last year's ST sales (25,200)
The red line is this year's ST sales to date taken from the Tracker (albeit including c1,000 blanked out by the Ticket Office). Currenly standing at 26,561 (adjust to c25,500 when blanked seats are taken into account.
The Blue Zone is last year's average (30,847)
