This is getting confusing now. So did Ashley spend or not spend? Rewriting history I see to make Howe look good.

I really hope any Newcastle fans don't work with stats. So EH spent c95m over one transfer window whilst Steve Bruce spent c125m over 5 transfer windows (though he would have only had part of the Summer '19 one) - hardly comparable.

95/1 = 95m
125/4.5 = 27.8m

I'm not so sure on if we wanted kamara we'd get kamara.

On paper he's the exact signing the mags should be making. 22 year old on the up just made the France squad. Are they trying to downplay that he isn't better than Joe Linton shelvey or longstaff 🤣

Just had a scroll through #safc on twitter and found that Michael Martin is still seething about the wife leaving him for a Sunderland fan and taking the kids.
He's now floating the notion that our owner is skint, we're a basket case of a club (pot, kettle etc.) and that our gate receipts are largely concessions.

Seek help, Michael... Or at least go and pay for a shag, that might take your mind off the wife and bairns going to London last weekend

Needs to look closer to home. I calculated for the last proper season 2018/19 NUFC had revenue of 23 pounds per fan per game.

2021 accounts have a wages/turnover of 76% (Excellent). Wags of 106.7m. I think they just added 26m to wages (check my calcs 4 players x 125k p/w x 52 weeks - happy for a mag to give me a better estimate of the four new players wages) so new ratio is 95%. Add in a few summer signings and they are not even meeting their day to day needs, before an additional equity injection.

Kieran showed in his wages/position calc that 6th has wages of 205m.... they are relying an awful lot on sponsorship and selling white/green shirts in KSA.
