BBC look north


Moved south in the 90’s just as the Geordie nation was been invented by Hall and co. It all changed then end emboldened the bias. The kick back was an inevitable deepening of the animosity and that fuelled even more bias by “Look Newcastle” and the Geordie press. It’s wrong but the bias stems from an unprofessional editorial team. The BBC should stamp it out!!
 
Haven't watched it for a long time. They've been doing this for decades now so you're best off not watching it as nothings going to change.

To watch your rivals have the weekend we’ve just had, to see your rivals go through the s##t we have endured over the past 5 years and not only did it not break us, it made us stronger and more United than ever…it’s killing then!
 
How certain people manage to navigate the corporate ladder and arrive at such positions as a sports / news editor, but allow themselves partisan cheap shots like this to a licence paying population...it just seems like some big lads club in the news room there. Who's got a grip of this? It's a disgrace and those motivated to complain should get some traction.

Thewlis loathes SAFC.

When Alex Neil was appointed and there was no-one at the SSOL to give an interview to Look North about it, she was gloating gleefully at how shambolic it all was.

This weekend, positive profile for SAFC all over the media, she looked visibly sickened at having to acknowledge it.

Bitter and petulant.
 
I always watch The Chase on ITV then leave on ITV Tyne Tees and then the National News.

Prefer the more relaxed style of reporting on ITV compared to the stiff stuff on BBC.

But aye regionally, BBC Look North is basically BBC Newcastle. Unless it concerns the darling city of Newcastle Upon Tyne, nobody is interested. Bollocks to Sunderland, Gateshead, Durham, Northumberland, Hartlepool, Cleveland, Middlesbrough, Cumbria, N Yorks
