Absolutely loved getting off the train with everyone singing and bairns obviously there for the first time just looking around in absolute amazement. Their little faces man 😍

There was one random Wycombe fan in our tube carriage on the way there. Someone started a chant about can you see any Wycombe fans, and he squatted down and tried to hide! He got a massive cheer, then we ended up singing Wycombe fans wear chinos everywhere they go (as he had chinos on) and Wycombe fans say hello (in a cut glass accent) everywhere they go. He was absolutely ill laughing and loving it!

A Wycombe family jumped on the Tube on the way back. They were really nice too. Had a lovely chat swapping away day stories and wishing each other well for next season. He was gutted he'd never been to the SOL and is hoping for a cup draw so he finally gets to attend!

Apart from the smoke bomb on the train, everyone was well behaved and I didn't see any aggro at all.

Not a single decent sized club had to tollerate shit the way SAFC have this last however many years and they still go in their droves.

Bar this last few month, half a season under big sam, smashing them bastards in the derbies, and a cup run that ended in defeat. We have had NOWT. nowt for what seems like forever.
 
Everyone I spoke to was great yesterday… met a fellow SMB’er @BDI (cheers for sorting )
The people around in the stand were a great laugh in A block 524…lady next to me with her young daughter, the lads with the Hasbulla cutout and the bloke behind me giving free head massages (if he’s on here he’ll get what I mean)…

This...yet all I heard driving down on the radio was a debate about the rise of football hooliganism and fans should be caged in, following the stupid pitch invasions over the last week or so....moral of the story is, don't tar all football fans with the same brush...
 
I think the fact we played Wycombe meant there was no edge at all to the day.
I loved every minute of the day. Was fantastic

Without doubt you are class, always have been in my eyes.

Thursday night a contrast, a friend has a cut above his eye being hit by a bottle, kids with Mums terrified as the Police and stewards were more interested in whether we were going to get on the pitch.
Collected my lads flag with goading and insults, can take all that but throwing bottles cowardly.
A few of our players were punched and kicked.

Port Vale have not apologised once, not once.
Hope we play them again though next season.
 
but what about the white masculinity we saw people talking about on twitter. And the aggression? And the arrogance?

Or is all of that complete, sad sack, look at me attention seeking, signaling horeshite?

Is it in fact that some people saw a large group of loud, northern people enjoying themselves, and were so uncomfortable it made them intolerant, the very thing the so claim to champion against?

Our fans really are something to behold, hats off to the lot of ya

The Daily Mail ran a story about our fans taking over Trafalgar Square and based on no evidence whatsoever said fears were growing of potential violence in the capital.
