Didn’t think my post was that hard to grasp to be fair . Yes if someone said to me right now the only way you will get to see Newcastle at Wembley in the next 20 years is either a playoff final or pizza cup final, I would say not interested and I don’t want that to happen.
But you said you hope you never have to go to a play off final, not that you wouldn’t. Now you are saying you wouldn’t

Your earlier statement says you would, but hope it never occurs

Today must be killing them, I start a new job on Monday in washington and they asked me to come in for an induction today so I can get started right away on Monday. I stepped into the building and the first thing I seen were 2 lads wearing filthy dirty black and white stripes, it's like they need us to be doing something special for them to tell everyone they're mag fans

Something special being the league 1 play off final I presume ?

For what it’s worth I’d quite like you to win. An FA Cup or League cup definitely not but I’d quite like you to get back within touching distance of the prem again.

You can only beat what's in front of you & a Wembley trip is brilliant. If you were ever in our position you would get nowhere near 50k going to Wembley. You had to give away 10k per game when you were 15th in the PL.

And you lot do nowt but f***ing whinge about what you've "been through". Try walking a day in our shoes. Had away & shite man you bunch of howling gashes.

🤣🤣🤣
Are you there, or are you bragging for others?

Yeah I want you to lose but It’s absolutely not killing me mind , fair enough if it was like a fa cup or league final I would be jealous but howay it’s the third division playoff final , I hope I never have to go to Wembley to see Newcastle play in that and I would genuinely be embarrassed to do so.
When you got to the league cup final that granted is a massive achievement and something to celebrate but I would happily go another 20 years not going to Wembley if it was only going to be for a playoff or pizza cup final.
See this is the difference between what Newcastle has become and what Sunderland is.
We've stuck with them through thick and thin and if anyone wants proof of the fickleness of the Jawdee Nation just go back to the attendances at the Mosque on the Hill when Newcastle were doing badly.
If you are a fan of Sunderland you aren't a 'Glorree Huntah' you are almost certainly a heritage fan and not someone who has a sense of football before Sky and John Hall.
So whether it's the play off finals or something more exalted we stick with them. It's in our blood. Rather than supporting a regime and a team predicated on beheadings, attritional war and an overly absurd sense of entietlement.

why are they cheering this on? surely it would lead to more stringent checks on spending that will fuck themselves as they expect to spend without limits.

Another classic from Bazoox. With his I.Q. of 1.5

They don't realise if Everton get investigated it will bring more scrutiny on them about being funded by the Saudi State.

Anyway off here now. HA'WAY THE LADS 🔴⚪⚽

Curious to know what particular era you refer to as the bad times and attendances ?
Monday will do mate, you don’t want to be arguing about us on your cup final weekend.

I mean that’s a load of nonsense isn’t it, I hate the attendance argument but since you brought the whole fickleness and sticking with the team up , we were getting crowds of 50k in the championship , in the same season you were getting crowds of 40k in the premiership and then crowds of about 25k in the championship . Your fans turn up for day trips at Wembley and play off semi finals but the ground was almost half empty the rest of the season.

31k average attendance in league one after years of shite..

Not day trippers at all or half empty. Didn't you start of saying you supported City?

you mean after years upon years of shite and getting beat every match, while you lot spent a fortune and won every week. aye, totally the same.
the fact is your team is in a more populous area and gets more fans. not rocket science.

Pubs
Charnie a bit rough:lol:

Nowhere near as bad as the Viking or North Star back in the day but that’s true if everywhere I suppose
That’ll be the Black bull or the newton. Longbenton’s down the road from them. You wouldn’t see too many roughians in those bars.

Aye that’s not longbenton estate tbf. The ministry is always called longbenton but it’s Benton really. Full of office workers who wear wedding rings and have sauce bottle shoulders (credit to @Gillythedilf )
