Today must be killing them, I start a new job on Monday in washington and they asked me to come in for an induction today so I can get started right away on Monday. I stepped into the building and the first thing I seen were 2 lads wearing filthy dirty black and white stripes, it's like they need us to be doing something special for them to tell everyone they're mag fans
Why would you expect a punch to be thrown. I might understand if you were a teenager full of testosterone, but not a grown adult.

I would have been a young lad in my early twenties at the time, was told i’ll have a free pint all night if i wear my Sunderland top, most of the lads i was with were Geordies, we all worked for a company in Longbenton, footy banter was 90 miles an hour, they told me careful cos someone might try to give me a crack.

Years ago was on an all day sesh with the ex wife (no) and ended up in a bar at 5pm outside of China Town near the ground. Loads of you lot obviously piled in and the ex in conversation said we were Sunderland supporters

Yeah I want you to lose but It’s absolutely not killing me mind , fair enough if it was like a fa cup or league final I would be jealous but howay it’s the third division playoff final , I hope I never have to go to Wembley to see Newcastle play in that and I would genuinely be embarrassed to do so.
When you got to the league cup final that granted is a massive achievement and something to celebrate but I would happily go another 20 years not going to Wembley if it was only going to be for a playoff or pizza cup final.

You can only beat what's in front of you & a Wembley trip is brilliant. If you were ever in our position you would get nowhere near 50k going to Wembley. You had to give away 10k per game when you were 15th in the PL.
And you lot do nowt but f***ing whinge about what you've "been through". Try walking a day in our shoes. Had away & shite man you bunch of howling gashes.

Maybe this is where we differ re being embarrassed, sunderland fans know we haven't been the best ran club for the past few years and it's not good being in this division but I cannot think of anyone being embarrassed about this game. I would go to support Newcastle yeah, but I certainly wouldn't be lauding it over Sunderland about how many times we have been to Wembley etc and making out like it was some sort of achievement over you.

Didn’t think my post was that hard to grasp to be fair . Yes if someone said to me right now the only way you will get to see Newcastle at Wembley in the next 20 years is either a playoff final or pizza cup final, I would say not interested and I don’t want that to happen.
