An old fella, just walking along the beach ??
I'm an old fella too. I wouldn't dream of walking through the Bigg Market wearing a Sunderland top. I'd expect that I'd be abused despite my age. And quite badly. I wouldn't do it because I realise there are tribal loyalties and although they are horse punching, tea towel wearing no-lifes I would respect their (utterly hypocritical, self-entitled) misguided choices on their own home ground.

Yeah but he wasn’t walking through an area renowned for pubs and drinking.
He was walking along the beach in the morning.

And? So that gives him a let? Both iconic places that embody a very particular to both sets of fans. Somewhere that wearing the others colours isn't provocative?

So you think it would be acceptable to abuse somebody minding their own business over their choice of apparel ?? Grow up man.
The vast majority of people don’t care what people are wearing. Why should they ?
You really think don’t you that there should be some sort of geographical boundary that rules what everyday folk can and cannot wear ??

I don't think a Sunderland fan should get any stick for wearing colours in Newcastle. It's not harming anybody. Amazing how these cities with multiple clubs aren't just a daily blood bath.
If someone can't even stand to see somebody wearing something they don't like and think it deserves a violent or verbally abusive reaction then they've obviously got something wrong with them.

Agreed MC. Need to grow up a bit if you get angered by this. It really is nothing, and nothing to get worked up about. Take care mate👍

Shouldn't expect to be abused should be able to go were you want when you want wearing what you want

I dont recall saying I'd condone abuse and imho if someone wore a Sunderland top , not just in the Bigg market, but any central part of Newcastle then I think you can reasonably assume that the person doing so would out to provoke a reaction.
Simple as- And do I notice a pile on of Mag wums here?
I realise that the focus may have shifted from the Al Qaeeda All Stars but come on ...

Cheers mate, but I'm just watching on the box. Went to Dublin to see my favourite band two weeks ago and spent a small fortune. Wouldn't change it though. Tool were awesome. Take care mate👍🤘

Mate of mine saw them at the 02 London couple of weeks back. He swears they’re the greatest band on the planet.
Likewise take care mate and thoroughly enjoy your day.
