I'm not lapping that up. I think that kit is a terrible idea and a big mistake. If they wanna subtly sportswash they're doing themselves no favours with that. Creates more spotlight on them than just not doing it. They must have Gerald Ratner in charge of choosing the kits.

I don't think they or anybody similar should be allowed in football. But they have been allowed in so it's a bit late.

I am happy that the club is doing well, not keen on the owners but if they run it well then fair enough for me. I'm not gonna compare Ashley to KSA because one is obviously terrible and one is a sports shop owner, but in terms of owning the club if he'd ran it in a way the fans felt was a good job then they'd have been less vocal against him. If the current owners do a bad job people will turn on them, same as ownership of any club. Do a good job and fans leave the owners to it, do a bad job and they'll get stick.

I think it's cos, regardless of what they say, they really don't give a fuck about who they trample on in their objectives. Including ya clerb. A cursory glance at their history would back that up.

This does make me laugh mind. You wouldnt find another set of fans in the entire country that wouldn’t be lapping it up under similar circumstances, everyone on this board knows that but they would obviously never admit to it .

When is someone going to confront the Premier League/Richard Masters and ask if they/he seriously believe that NUFC are not effectively owned by the Saudi state/KSA. The current situation in the Ukraine should be a metaphorical trigger point where this scenario is not accepted and just because it has happened that it cannot be overturned.

There isn’t one to anyone with either a functioning brain, a level of common sense or a heart. There are Kids who can only watch live football if they get the tickets for nowt. Every club should do this. Every supporter should welcome it. There is not a single club, in the top 2 divisions, and many in League 1, who would feel a financial burden by forgoing an entrance fee for 100-200 of the worst off kids and parents.
A % of those kids will be financially able in later years. That small investment could yield 1000’s, possibly much more, in ‘payback’ in years to come. It is the correct thing to do. Both commercially and morally.
