It doesn't just mirror the colours, it almost mirrors various Saudi Arabia home strips such as this one.

There are some daft mags saying "Wharrabooot when we wore green/white before" and hoying up this strip.

It's as if they don't realise that that old strip wasn't linked to anything else and if it was then it would have been at the opposite end of the scale to Saudi Arabia. The same goes for the knackers saying "Wharrabooot Wolves and their Portuguese strip?" and completely ignoring the difference between Portugal and Saudi Arabia culture and laws etc. There's even some knackers bringing Cardiff's colour change into it.

It's amazing just how defensive they are about all this and a perfect example of sportswashing in action as the whataboutery has gone back up to level 11 again :lol:

Manger of the year should go to Eddie or Frank unless Jurgen wins the treble. For Eddie to get that mess he inherited from Bruce that had barely been coached for three years and were probably the most unfit team in the league and turn it into a functional mid table team is an incredible achievement really. Even his big January signings Tripper and Bruno barely played when he went on that winning run.

I honestly wouldn't be surprised to see Newcastle "opt out" of LGBT campaigns next year purely because of the embarrassment having "their" club playing with rainbow laces, corner flags and armbands being broadcast around the Emirates.

Accurate though. Just look at the way the Ukrainian situation is reported on compared to Palestine or Yemen.

FWIW Ukraine is exactly how we should be reporting and thinking about war crimes etc, but the same standard doesn't apply to those who aren't white

Bruce kept you up easily last season. It was Howe's decision not to play Bruno.

Took a squad that finished 12th last season to probably 12th. Bruce did very similar last season from what looked like relegation to comfortable.
