Absolutely. Then again there isn’t a likeable club playing in the supposed premier league![]()
I don’t like the money involved but there are lots of great clubs and people in the NEPL.

The club (1sts and 2nds) has lost something like 11 or 12 players to - University, lads moving away for work, lads simply packing in, lads moving on to other clubs and retirement.
It would be welcoming if money doesn’t buy success this season for‘big clubs’ such as South North and Chester le Street.Quite nice to see the "old firm" of South North and Chester struggling and not just smashing everyone week in week out.
I genuinely think CLS will pay the least out in the league. From their team on Saturday, I think they had one paid player. It would be welcoming if money doesn’t buy success this season for‘big clubs’ such as South North and Chester le Street.
First time for everything, I suppose.I genuinely think CLS will pay the least out in the league. From their team on Saturday, I think they had one paid player.
If so,it’s because they have no money.I genuinely think CLS will pay the least out in the league. From their team on Saturday, I think they had one paid player.
Money will still buy the success even if South North and CLS don’t winIt would be welcoming if money doesn’t buy success this season for‘big clubs’ such as South North and Chester le Street.
You’re probably right.Money will still buy the success even if South North and CLS don’t win
Called in to Whitburn yesterday after walking the dogs along the beach.
Lot of people there watching who seemed to be enjoying themselves.
Always found it to be a pretty laid-back place to play and watch.
Do your 80s history and understand where The Grins nickname came from, then you know it’s not Boris waffle.Like one of boris’ covid speeches
Don’t know how if that’s the case. Must be the busiest bar of all the clubs in the NEPLIf so,it’s because they have no money.
As far as I'm aware CLS CC last won the NEPL in 2016 and that's the only time they've won it since 2011?It would be welcoming if money doesn’t buy success this season for‘big clubs’ such as South North and Chester le Street.
With Burnmoor being the classic example recently.Money will still buy the success even if South North and CLS don’t win
Remember that the bar took a massive hit during the pandemic. The club must have lost a 5 or 6 figure sum in takings. Take a while to recover from that.Don’t know how if that’s the case. Must be the busiest bar of all the clubs in the NEPL
I'm told that Micky Allan batted superbly for Sunderland.Chester off the mark with a win yesterday. Eppleton only team to not win a game now
Sunderland are playing Whitburn that day, so I know the question was asked for those particular 2 games as it would suit both teams.Looks like a LMC meeting tomorrow night to discuss options for Play Off Final Day as presumably some Durham based clubs may have an issue fielding two teams
I don't think they can play some first team fixtures that day and not the others. With promotion and relegation in play all fixtures need to play same day as weather etc impactsSunderland are playing Whitburn that day, so I know the question was asked for those particular 2 games as it would suit both teams.
Think the complication was that cup games are due to be played on the Sunday so it couldn't just be switched to then.
All fixtures going ahead as scheduledLooks like a LMC meeting tomorrow night to discuss options for Play Off Final Day as presumably some Durham based clubs may have an issue fielding two teams
Be some big wins for the Tyneside-based teams that weekend. All fixtures going ahead as scheduled
No official communication yet, is this definitely correct? All fixtures going ahead as scheduled
