Yeah, fair enough, I expect the club to manage his schedule with some science behind it. It would seem odd to have him in the squad if he was to be rested, sure there's someone else we could find to make up the 14.

Also, you have a bit of a duty to a young lad who is bending his back more than others on flat flat decks

Ah OK, he has a lot less overs in his legs this season. But yes, Durham might have to start planning for the unthinkable and Rushy might not be an ever present.

We can't afford to rest potts
 
You sometimes have to look further than the next game. Potts requires a rest after bowling 195 overs in The last 5 weeks. Rushworth,Raine, Stokes and Carse rotated in 5 over spells with Trevaskis to hold up one end with the old ball. These flat wickets should give him the experience to learn how to bowl lengthy containing spells.
 
Trevaskis ‘rotated’, Salisbury left out, Raine and Carse return.

Looks a really really strong seam attack and a very green pitch. Got to dig in and make some runs first though.

Trev can count himself very unfortunate, but it appears clear that they don’t want spin to be a factor in this game.

Glamorgan appear to have Andrew Gorvin as their fourth seamer - but he was used pretty sparingly last week, albeit in a spin friendly lineup - which on paper atleast looks a little light given the comparison to our 5 man frontline seam attack. Hope we can exploit that.
