Admittedly they’re great weekends away down the smoke. I was there for all 3 in 90s, even though I didn’t have a ticket for one of them. But ask me if I’d want to be going for this particular fixture and I’d say no. I don’t blame yous for being cock a hoop that yous have got to the final, but don’t be in the mindset of thinking uscmags wished they were going in your place. That’s the truth wether you want to believe it or not.
Go back about 10 posts :lol: you’ll see how desperate you’re lot are for a trip to Wembley

Keep thinking we aren’t your world

Did you go on any of the “drunken European city breaks”?

Will you’s be decking out any pubs in Saudicastle in Wycombe colours ?? 🙄

Don't know about decking pubs out....but of course we'll be supporting Wycombe the same way you'd be supporting the other team if we were at a Final/Wembley, just like you were in 98/99/00 and all our european games

Which January signings do you think we will we be looking to replace other than Wood?
I think Gayle will leave in the summer and we'll be looking to sign another striker. Wilson is good but injury prone and Wood will be there as back up to Wilson and whoever comes in
Well Dan Burn is a bit shit, A lot of the goals conceded since he’s come in have been down to him, the lad runs in treacle and has the turning circle of a combine harvester

You’ve obviously delved a lot deeper than me on this, and know a lot more than me, but my point still stands. If they wanted to spend, say £300mill in the summer, then they would, and could. Btw that’s not me saying I expect that to happen before people jump on it.
If you spent £300M in the summer that would be your FFP transfer kitty used for the next 2 or 3 transfer windows. You CAN'T just spend what you want. That would be almost £400M over 2 windows.

Everton spend around £450M over about 5 seasons but then they only spent £1.5M during the summer window as their FFP money was maxed out.

To be fair the 5 listed should be who they should be aiming to be above next season

I didn't think the article was that deluded. This comment however......

"We've got the richest owners in world football, they don't want us to be like Wolves and Villa, they want us to be like Liverpool and Man City. And that's what we, as a fanbase, should be demanding. After all those years of disappointment under the Ashley regime, it's almost like we're too frightened to dream big dreams. We've been conditioned to expect and accept failure, so, as a fanbase, we now have a collective inferiority complex."

There's more....from Gtoon

"We need to aim to win the league. At the end we accept our place but don’t aim low from the start. The fans want to win every game and so do the players and manager. I think we are still affected by Ashley and his aim low attitude."

"Do u remember 95/96? And even 92/93. We set off like a train and became almost unstoppable. Other clubs can’t do that. We are the only club that can become unstoppable. We just need to take those first few steps."

no other club can start a season like that as they clutch onto a season from 25 years ago. Good article here on starts to the season.

No, I didn’t go on any of the European jollies.

I know pal.

I don’t see any delusion in this. The only thing I might take issue with is the fanbase demanding line.

You should browse the safc timeline aswell. You might find 1 or 2 with a slight obsession for everything nufc. My favourite the other night was when you scored your second goal and some lad comments “let’s all laugh at Newcastle”. Can you explain to me the logic behind that, as you seem to be one of the more intelligent ones on here.
