We've got them a Wembley trip.

I see from reading through the replies to that that even other clubs think the mags' behaviour is weird.

West Ham Report 'That's a ****ing odd proposition mate'.

Bunch of utter clownshoe tier helmets the lot of them.

We don't know he's mediocre as he's never had a decent budget to play with and the players he signed in Jan are all ok apart from Wood who knows he would never be 1st/2nd/3rd choice next and may leave with a pat on the back on a lower fee.
I take it you didn’t realise he spaffed millions upon millions on the likes of Dominic solanke and Jordan ibe then getting sacked before they were relegated with his squad?

Fuck off murder sportswasher
You seem like a nice chap
Thanks, now fuck off
Again, touch of class. Parents will be proud of the man you’ve become.
Chris Wood was the ultimate panic signing. They had Watford at home coming up iirc and still hadn't brought in a centre forward. It would have been criminal over 2 weeks into the window to go into that game without a striker. I think they got drawn in to the "unsettling Burnley" strategy and forgot about the fact that £20m for Chris Wood was silly money.

They'd do well to get half of that and imo it's likely to will leave on a free when his contract ends. he's probably on a salary he won't get elsewhere so will sit tight and see it out. A big thing was made about having so much wriggle room with FFP - they've used a decent chunk of that on players they will be looking to replace after 6 months...

You’re stating the obvious here pal. Every man and his dog knew that nufc were in a desperate situation. I would say the only ones that weren’t panic buys were Trippier and Bruno.
I did mate.

Not so much about the mags but they did of course feature. You can't have such a large amount of gonkage in your fanbase and expect them not to.

Don't think it sold too many in WH Smith in Northumberland St but it was the Xmas No.1 in the North East book chart though. 😎
Well done. Fair play to you.
Comment from the Mag regards Man City. Absolute Fruitloops these fuckers 🤣🤣🤣

They're resigning Dummett & Lingstaff & expect to be challenging. Barmy

""We should have extreme caution in passing any comment on Man City here. Remember they’ve been soaring like this for over a decade now, and I don’t think it’s good for an atmosphere when you turn up expecting to win easily every week and being proved right most of the time. League games like this are filler between Champions League attempts and the one game of note with Liverpool that determines the destination of a league title that maybe doesn’t prompt the excitement it once did. You have to wonder if we may be on this path and how long it will last before similar barbs are thrown our way.""
The irony of this fella calling anyone a fruitloop 🤔

Do you think he's a bit peeved we are going to Wembley....again
Why would the fella be peeved that yous are going to Wembley for a “league 1 play off match“. It doesn’t make sense. Not unless I’m missing something.
They need to understand what liquidity means in financial markets.
Liquidity doesn’t mean too much when you’re talking about the amounts of money these mega rich owners (not just the Saudis) have got. They’ll spend as much, or as little as they want, or are allowed to do within the rules. It’s that simple, without having to go into the semantics of everything they’ve got going on.

Managers get sacked all the time and low and behold at next club are a success.....happens all the time in all leagues as for Solanke he'd be top goal scorer in championship in any other year and again under different manager might be a roaring success next season

Tha richest club in tha werld has stepped aside for Haaland I see.

He was bought for the premier league.

He scored no goals in his first half season. 4 goals in his first full season.

That's worse than Chris Wood!

You are very wrong. 162bn of their assets are in the Saudi Market (the Taduwal) which would collapse without them propping it up. The needed to borrow 40bn in spring 2020 to make the US investments and since then the only income they have had is the government giving them 40bn in fx reserves and 80bn in untradeable Aramco stock which gives them a dividend stream. Then they have other equity investments and a lot of PE and infrastructure investments. They are not paupers but if you have set your expectation at a bottomless pit of money you are going to be disappointed. I said back in October they are shrewd investors, though losing 5bn on Lucid doesn't support that, and nothing they have done so far suggests a spending spree.

Though according to your mates on deluded I'm an uber driver and live in me maa's spare room........

Your argument was Howe has never had any money to spend, soon as he had money to spend at Bournemouth it fell apart

Think it’s safe to say like Dwight Gayle, mitrovic, billy sharp etc solanke struggle to get to 5 goals in the premier league next year

You’ve obviously delved a lot deeper than me on this, and know a lot more than me, but my point still stands. If they wanted to spend, say £300mill in the summer, then they would, and could. Btw that’s not me saying I expect that to happen before people jump on it.

Well lets be honest here Gayle has always been a championship player Mitrovic will be one to watch next season if he leaves Fulham but should he stay they will struggle again and his goal tally will be less than 10 Solanke is the better player and may do well with a different manger at Bournemouth

I had this knowledge of PiF (and all the big SWF's) pre-takeover - I haven't had to delve. Time will tell how much they spend - my hunch is it will be very sensible spending.

They absolutely despise us to the point it consumes them. They obviously get annoyed that we get to enjoy ourselves numerous times at the new Wembley, when they’ve never been (new Wembley) and haven’t been to (old) Wembley since 1999.

You’re spot on with this mate. I’m absolutely devastated that my team is not going to Wembley to play Wickham in a league 1 play off game.
