Excellent possession from the mags yet again yesterday. EH is reinventing football. Jer is transformed under the master tactician but yet didn't win a single tackle yesterday (

We’ve got Dan burn in defence, dubravka in goal and Chris wood scoring the goals, wuh the richest klerb in tha werld

First thing to do for them in the summer is recoup as much of the £25m they can get for wood, be lucky to get anyone to take him for £10m and I doubt he’d be keen to give up his contract for nowt

Doesn't matter when you are mega rich. The fact a shit player can sit and run his thousands of pound contract down when the general fan is scrimping and scraping to make ends meet is of little importance.

It is when your spending power is massively restricted by not being in the champions league, regardless of owner/investment/national wealth they can only piss in a pot compared to the real rich clubs who are making double or treble the turnover of the mags

I started a thread after just a few games into the season stating that Norwich were a waste of a Prem place and would finish bottom. Think the reaction was mixed iirc. Norwich couldn't even beat a ten man NUFC whose confidence was shot to pieces.

Agreed we did neither in both games,
I like to be optimistic before any game.
Deep down I know the potential of games like this to be a massive anticlimax but if I didn't have optimism I'd be wasting my time bothering to watch.

What I believed they would do and what they did were chalk and cheese.
The quality just isn't there for three-quarters of this squad. I know that but I still believed they would have a go way more than they did.

My prediction of 10 points from the last five games was optimistic. Some would say delusional. I wouldn't fully argue against that but stranger things have and will again, happen.

You're certainly entitled to gloat and give me a good digging but it'll never change my stance on optimism.:)

slight chance watford could finish bottom.
 
Based on the cost/quality ratio of Chris Plank I reckon the Mags will have to spend £975m in the summer to achieve an average of 30% possession and finish in the top half next year.
Great stop by Bruno yesterday, Targett had a mare against Sterling (sorry that was St. Maxs' fault).
Dubravka, Burn, Lascelles all hopeless.
It was a treat to watch on MOTD2.
Most of the wins they have had were lucky or against teams on the beach already.
Champions League contenders in the next few years?
Hilarious, as is the idea of Beheddie being a contender for manager of the year. FTM.

To be fair I'm not too bothered about that.
We escaped relegation so the rest of it is basically an easy street in terms of not having to worry about much and just hoping we can finish on a bit of a high.
We have to be careful about some fans having too high an expectation. It's fine to have high hopes but never expect.

Most teams get nothing much at Man City and most teams don't get much at their own grounds against Man City.
Most get hammered and played off the park so I'm not too disappointed.
They've had a lot of years to get to this stage. We've just started.

I'm extremely optimistic.
