They're currently 13th though. I understand this crack about Howe doing a good job cos of where they were when he took over but the perspective is altered by the 100m he spent in Jan. IMO Vieira and Frank have done better jobs on much smaller budgets.

Tongue in cheek!

I cannot see how you can be manager of the year when your main tactic is to give the other team the ball with possession worst in EPL, 2nd fewest touches overall and worst for touches in midfield 3rd. The touches obviously goes hand in hand with possession....

I think Frank at Brentford should be right in the mix. Keeping them up so comfortably is a big achievement like.

They are some boys these PIF lads aren't they - making 240bn in one day! I've just done a Bloomberg news search for it and can't see anything.

I'd respond on twitter but it is like banging your head against a wall.

Bloomberg has them at 205.7bn in equity holdings with 71 investments but that doesn't include non traded assets like real estate and infrastructure projects like NEOM. Of that 205.7bn 162bn is in Saudi Stocks - they are only holding them because no one else will and the market would collapse without the support of PIF. Then you have c33n in US stocks, 2.7bn in some Japanese stocks so once you discount the illiquid Saudi Stocks they have 43bn in equities. Still not to be sniffed at but doesn't sound as great as 400bn!

For any mags lurking lets look at two investments they have:

Uber bought at approximately 41.88 per share, current share price is 26.07 so they have lost over 1bn recently. They aren't exiting that position anytime soon.

Lucid where they own 1,015,252,532 shares bought at 23.26 per share.....now 18.15 per share. Just the 5.2bn lost there so they are not exiting that soon either.

I actually thought you're display was good, especially as it was the first proper one so to speak.

I'm late to this I know but congratulations on the result, thought you should of scored more the way the game went but you've definitely got the beating of them.

Hopefully a good result coming tomorrow, enjoy lads.

Thanks mate, very nice of you to say... respect
