Going back to last Friday I honestly thought the ‘eyes’ looked great!
Different, unique and obviously well thought out.
I also credit the fans, impressive numbers and came across on TV as very loud.
As for the game you have to be disappointed you did not score more but also worried how strong SWFC looked last 15 minutes.
I did read somewhere that away tickets were limited to 2k per club which again is odd given you both could easily sell out a whole lot more.
The lad who hit the bar from 20 yards (his name I can’t remember) was impressive throughout ( think he was subbed late on) as was your GK who I did not realise was a North Shields lad!

I agree with this.An opportunity missed ,I think.There is no way sheff wed will play that bad down there(i hope so though).

Tough second leg but historically always been twists in these games.
First goal although crucial may not be critical, although if you score it, it places a huge onus on SW to be expansive……and that may be their Achilles heel as catching them on the break could be the way to sealing the tie!

@Pancho here is another poster who started off pretending to be one of us. The dribbler even used ftm in his username. Yet he's still on here antagonising Sunderland fans. He's obviously flouted the rules hasn't he ?

Take your heed for a crap mate. No way will you be signing anyone you want. Even top level players have morals and principles. They will know what move is right for them.

I could afford a 10k BMW - doesn’t meant it’s a no brainer. I will just go out and get it. My next car has to be the right one for me.

Just because you can match the fees of top clubs with a lot more recent success it doesn’t mean the player you’ve fighting for will choose you each time. They have to think about other things than merely how much they are going to be sighed for or how much they are going to be on. Location. Chances of winning things.

Have you not noticed? Top players will only join once you are successful. They have no interest in wanting to help kickstart the revival. They will only sign once someone has done the legwork for them. And you may have rich owners but you are not there yet. Win a few cups, quality for Europe and finish in the top 6 a few times with the players you have. Then they will sign.

As for losing sleep, you are telling me you won’t? You hate any success we have. Any happiness. Will you really be happy or indeed not arsed if we go up? If we parade the playoff trophy around Wembley are you seriously telling me you wouldn’t be the least bit angry? Yeah, right.

Mike Ashley was a billionaire. What he was prepared to spend on the club was significantly less.

It doesn't matter how rich the owners are. Unless they are prepared to spend it then their personal wealth means nothing.

It's only the doylems that can't see that.

If Newcastle start offering mental money agents will be banging on the door to get their 'clients' work regardless of what you think. Unless of course you think agents are paragons of virtue.
