EFC v NUFC

Prem Ave: 10.2 v 11.2 (I know what about Ashley)
All time: 9.7 v 14.3 (natural level)
Win:9 v 4
Top 4: 32 v 18
Top flight seasons: 89 v 64
Outside top flight: 4 v 28
Does going out in the qualifiers count as playing in it?

Don't mention Collina on merseyside....https://royalbluemersey.sbnation.com/2020/5/12/21255766/everton-v-villarreal-champions-league-qualifier-duncan-ferguson-pierluigi-collina-disallowed-goal

maginpeace and waster showing the complete lack of self awareness re Everton. In the time since you smelly twats won anything I think Everton have won the league, a couple of FA cups and a European trophy. Meanwhile you win the "most sycophantic support base trophy" and the "turn a blind eye to the atrocities my owner commit shield".
Carry on spanners!!
I am fully aware of Everton’s history. I haven’t argued with that once.

That is absolutely abhorrent!!!!
Who is this!!!!
To do something like that is absolutely disgusting!!!.....to all Newcastle supporters who will think this is somehow funny...I pity you!!
This "person" needs reporting to the police!!....what a disgusting individual!!

Seen it for the first time. Is there absolutely no moral depths those scruffy, vile, sick, depraved, amoral, immoral, disgusting vermin will plumb?

I don't know about the police. A mental institution is the only place for such creatures.

I've already seen the progress. Playing Liverpool, Man City and Arsenal will be a much more enjoyable contest due to us being safe.
They may get massive shocks and I believe they will.
One thing I'm confident of. We'll give them all a good game playing with a lot more freedom. If we get hit by one of them or even two, I'm sure the fans will forsake it just for the chance to express themselves.

Those teams have to fear us, not the other way around.
We have their title hopes or champions league hopes by the scruff of the neck. Who has the most pressure?..... Not us.
Gave Liverpool a 'good game' playing with freedom.

4 shots to their 20, 10 on target. No corners in 90 minutes. Liverpool let you off the hook with very poor finishing.

The new entertainers 😂

Have you got a link for these average positions so I could see a league table based on average positions? I like owt like this. Tried searching for one but could only find one that was a few years out of date.
Be interesting to see how everybody ranks.

From what I can gather they competed for the first 15 minutes then hardly got out of their half.Back to Rafa’s tactics against most teams.Their world class midfield players must have had a day off.

Reading some of the resident mags posts on here lately do they think anyone in football who have no ties to them apart from Jake humphries the f***ing wierdo btw actually gives a toss about them.

Some of them actually believe that football fans in general go on like Jake humphries fawning over them talking about them in pubs and work places across the country telling each other what a massive club they are

Clubs such as everton who the mags fanbase seem to ridicule and hate probably because Pickford seems to get under their skin are a much more successful club over the most recent of decades and football fans of a certain age will remember how great they were in the 80s

Newcastle fans need to realise that they get very good home support simply because they are a 1 major city club with huge and vast populated surrounding areas. Its not because they are some kind of super fans who love their football club more than any other fan of any other club.

End of the day they are an excellent supported club like many in the footballing league who ultimately win fuck all

I'm not showing a lack of 'self' awareness when it comes to how big and succesful Everton are.
It was a direct question about their involvement in one competition specifically.

Liverpool certainly did let us off the hook but then again I have no real complaints. We were beaten by a team that generally gives very little away and generally trounces opponents.
We were well beaten and as you point out, we had little to offer.

I thought we'd have had a better go but maybe Howe's told the players to ensure we don't get trounced, first and foremost as it can dent confidence, unlike losing by one goal, which will actually aid it.

I don't expect you to win another game all season. Pity you're safe.

I said we'd get 10 points from our last 5 games.
We are on 3 with 3 games to go.

Optimistic by me? Absolutely...but then again I can afford to be because like you say, we're safe.
I think we'll get a draw and a win against Man City and Arsenal...not specifically in that order and then top it off with 3 points against Burnley.

Arrogant? Yep.
Optimistic to excess? Yep.
Happy to be correct? Yep.
Happy to be totally wrong? Yep.

I'm just enjoying the carnival-type atmosphere and the feel-good factor with it all. I understand it doesn't sit well with you but then again I wouldn't expect it to.

Be interesting to see how everybody ranks.

I have most as I created them for a project quite some time back. Here are a few that I have updated since when people have asked:

WHU 18.3
SAFC 16.6
LFC 8
MCFC 13.3
Wolves 21.2

I'd need a good few hours to tidy them all up. The hard work was generating a list of seasons with teams in each of the divisions to work out position when out of top flight.

Enjoy the champagne football 🤣

Must admit the last game I watched you live was spurs away. You've really been bigging up the way you play and what a pleasure it is to watch you these days since that game.

I'm really looking forward to Sundays game when your live on sky. Going by what you've been saying I'm expecting an excellent close end to end game on Sunday.
