C.C:: Sussex v Durham (Hove)

Pujara 535 runs in five innings for Sussex (the “whipping boys”) so far this season including two double centuries.

Durham have come up against an exceptional player in top form this week. Lets not get too downhearted, yet.

Well I wrote the same at s similar time last Saturday. Let's see who has got the appetite and application to bat for at least 3 sessions. Great chance for batsmen to be selfish and just bat and bat.

Aye. A team with pujara in it can win any game, whipping boys or not

I've been out for an hour so I'm surprised to come back and see we're batting.

Not that it matters. Our only hope is if it rains all day tomorrow. Assuming we hang on tonight.

Jamie Smith of Surrey is one to watch. He scored 234 not out for Surrey v Gloucestershire this week. On Monday he opened with Cameron Steel for Surrey two’s v Durham at Guildford. Both were bowled cheaply by Matt Salisbury with the new ball.

Or we bat out time like every other team we look like beating does.

That Oval wicket looked like an absolute road tbf. Gloucestershire made 296 for the first wicket.

Me too and I've just scololed back on the feed to watch the play on replay. All I can say is Trevaskis hasn't disappointed this season. Very good cricketer.
