Was a bloke in ‘Greens’ last night almost getting into a punch up with his fellow fans just because they didn’t agree the mags would be top four next season’ all “ jealous” apparently. Stupid prick thought it was ok to jump ahead of me at the bar because I was a “ new face” as well.
 
Waving money around at matches now. Once this goes tits up for them they can expect the entire footballing community to be laughing their collective arses off. Zero f***ing self awareness.

Like I've said a million times I might start to get a little envious of you lot if you ever win a major trophy and not before.

Just like fans of every other club in the country no one gives a toss about any other club. I'm envious of the big clubs fans who win trophies

I haven’t read the article but I would think the main difference with this is that it would effectively be Man City taking over Nec Breda. Imagine another football club taking yous over. It’s never gonna happen is it. I’ll stand corrected though if I’m barking up the wrong tree.

You can’t get through to them how rotten their ownership is. I generally just get AJ replies. One a actually went through how Saudi is changing. I showed him many articles about things actively going on in Saudi and they just won’t have it. We’re jealous and would accept if it was us. They just don’t get it at all.

Yep that is a large part of it but it also clearly mentions their disgust re the human rights record of the proposed owners which was also part of their objection.

As I said just an interesting slant on the often used statement by many clubs including Newcastle that fans can’t do anything and clearly a stark contrast to the approach of a large proportion of fans at Newcastle who actively petitioned lobbied and pressurised the establishment to enable the takeover
