If that were the case then how do they explain this article from their first game after the takeover? I remember reading comments on it showing people from around the world were revolted at the mag fans behaviour:

Zero bias from the north east football writer. Honestly why some of these reporters are even allowed within 5 miles of the SoL is beyond me.

Personally, I don’t like being owned by Saudis, I don’t like what happens in their country, but did nowt about it years ago, and I still don’t. I couldn’t give a toss who hates us, and who doesn’t.
What I object to is a few on here taking the moral high ground. For every horse puncher, I raise you someone who sits in his seat with his underwear down his ankles.
Your players jumping on cars in Newcastle.
Your youth players shooting car windows out with an air rifle.
Fans making monkey gestures at opponents.
Your fans racially abusing one of your players.
Your fans diving into a foot of water in Trafalgar Square, next to a woman dropping her pants.
You players and fans making “adult” films.
I could go on.
The majority of you are no different to the majority of us.
I don’t read the arseholes on Twitter, I live in the real world.
Call me “sportswashed” which seems to be the buzzword on here now, I’ve supported Newcastle for 50 years. NOTHING will change that.
