The article literally says they are looking at Neil as he can work on a limited budget. Parachutes will be gone before they even got the accounts.
So? What’s that got to do with what I just said

Burnley are a good club with a solid fanbase and a fine tradition.
They’re not at all tinpot.
Burnley won't be challenging or spending any decent money. So? What’s that got to do with what I just said
All three would walk into our current team and had we had those three we would already be promoted this season. Can only think of watmore, mclaughlin and maja who've gone to higher leagues since being in league one prior to this season. Barring Remi Matthews but he doesn't count for me.
Think there's a few in this lot who would attract Championship interest.
He did sign a long one there after the initial one.

Aye not debating that, my point was prior to this season our recruitment has been poor. All three would walk into our current team and had we had those three we would already be promoted this season.
Ultimately I think it's up to the owner. If we don't go up I'd be surprised if they'd take him. If we do, then I think he'll stay if he knows he's got a chance. But he'll need to know that things are going to be settled, he'll be given some money to spend etc. If we actually show some ambition I think he'd stayI’d be surprised if he left us for a championship team tbh. Doesn’t seem like a club hopper and he’s really building something here, so would be surprised if he went for anything less than a spectacular offer (ie a premier league team). Even if we didn’t get promoted.
Burnley will be in serious financial bother if they go down, the owners leveraged the club income to buy the club.Burnley have got new owners and will have parachute payments.
less successful club with much less money though...Don't care really he's at a bigger club now and will finish the job here.
we wont be challenging for promotion from the championship either like..Burnley won't be challenging or spending any decent money.
Their best defender is going on a free transfer. Cornet will be off. Their squad is aging.
I never said we did... merely disputing the poster saying Burnley had a 'good chance of going up'.less successful club with much less money though...
its great to finally have a manager that teams in higher leagues want..rather than one no one else wants
we wont be challenging for promotion from the championship either like..
more chance than safc..i will put it that way..I never said we did... merely disputing the poster saying Burnley had a 'good chance of going up'.
I dont care how you put input, ita totally irrelevant to my post. That wasn't being discussed.more chance than safc..i will put it that way..
so you think its irrelevant to whether alex neil would want the burnley job ahead of the safc job...?I dont care how you put input, ita totally irrelevant to my post. That wasn't being discussed.
I never once said Alex Neil wouldn't be interested in the job. Again you're jumping in.so you think its irrelevant to whether alex neil would want the burnley job ahead of the safc job...?
i think its the most relevant fact of all..
Burnley won't be challenging or spending any decent money.

Some clubs what to distract us so our heads turn and we get beat….they might want a player our coach it’s all part of the media game…I you do well, other clubs will want your players and your staff.
The time to worry is when they don't want them.
What a f***ing stupid reply.Didn't want him here in the first place, so I want to say I don't give a shite. But I can't. Given what he inherited, he's done a very good job so far. Credit where it's due. Just hope he finishes the job this season.
Nobody’s queuing up to give LJ a job put it that way.
I’m impressed Alex Neil took us on at all - the team were exhausted, demoralised and streakier than a Jackson Pollock.
He’s done an incredible job, it’s no surprise other teams will be looking at him.
