Looks like it. I'll probably watch the world cup as well. I'm the perfect victim for sportswashing. Watched anthony joshua fighting in saudi arabia as well. I've watched PSG games. I've watched Man City Games. I watched the 2018 world cup. I watched Liverpool win the world club cup as well.So you,and your dad, have no morals, and have been sportswashed. You cannot get away from it.
But a majority of your fans, it seems to me, are fawning over the Saudis, they're defending them, and their actions, at every turn.Because i can divorce the actions of the owners from the club. The club existed before them owning it. It'll exist after them.
As i said a few pages ago, my old man has supported Newcastle over 70 years. He's never supported the actions of Saudi Arabia, whether that's the war against Yemen, or forbidding women from driving (although the way my mother drove, I'm not so sure), stonings, capital punishment or whatever else. For about 70 years he just supported Newcastle United. He still does. It doesn't mean since October 2021 he is a terrorist sympathiser or hates Yemen or any of that.
People support their club, through generations of their family. They can disagree with the owners while still wanting the club to do well.
You don't have to renounce your support of the club if you don't like the owners.

This is true ^ as much hatred I have for them the lad is speaking senseBecause i can divorce the actions of the owners from the club. The club existed before them owning it. It'll exist after them.

A "majority" that people on here seek out on twitter maybeBut a majority of your fans, it seems to me, are fawning over the Saudis, they're defending them, and their actions, at every turn.
You were denying being sportswashed a minute ago.Nice to see you've changed your mind and admit it now.Takes a lot that.If only mad snivel could be as honestLooks like it. I watched the Beijing Olympics, watched the sochi winter Olympics.
Probably many others. Plenty events I've watched and enjoyed which were held in places with poor reputations with events held which intended to show the hosts in a favourable light.
Guess I'm just unique in loving sportswashing events.
I work with a load of mags and believe me that's all they do when the Saudis are criticised, each and every one of them to a man.A "majority" that people on here seek out on twitter maybe
You're dead wrong. You have to be the moral compass with this. You've got to give up watching the club you've supported since a kid. Never mind that the government is happy to sell them weapons, or that people are happy to use their fuel, or that people are happy to go and work over there. No, now that they have taken over this lots rivals and loads on here have been having a hissy fit for six months you have got to do something about something over which you have no control.Because i can divorce the actions of the owners from the club. The club existed before them owning it. It'll exist after them.

Good manager, good signings in January. The amount of dosh this lot will spend in the summer will be obscene. Going places unfortunately.
That’s the best thing about working from home, no Mags in the home office.I work with a load of mags and believe me that's all they do when the Saudis are criticised, each and every one of them to a man.
I don't think I'm sportswashed. I'm aware of the situations in those countries. The fact I've pointed out numerous instances of attempts at sportswashing whilst even being aware of what it is shows that. The rubes these people want are ones who don't see it for what it is. But if you enjoy saying it and want to think i am so be it. I like every other who will watch the 2022 world cup or who watched the 2018 world cup or any other event I listed is party to sportswashing. You were denying being sportswashed a minute ago.Nice to see you've changed your mind and admit it now.Takes a lot that.If only mad snivel could be as honest
I disagree daffy lad.To me it's a load of over sentimental shite,to cover up the mags's feeble mindedness. This is true ^ as much hatred I have for them the lad is speaking sense

Bye then it's almost midnight on a Sunderland forum why don't you leave you sad bastardOk. No room for discussion here.
You aren't gonna admit to being sportswashed though, are you?Because it shows a lack of morals, and shows you to be weak willed. But you absolutely have been, sportswashed!I don't think I'm sportswashed. I'm aware of the situations in those countries. The fact I've pointed out numerous instances of attempts at sportswashing whilst even being aware of what it is shows that. Or maybe.
Just maybe.
We can enjoy the event without agreeing with the politics of the host or owners lf the event/entity
Non of them? Righto.I work with a majority of mags, and i don't find them to be like that.
