Apart from Potts the other bowlers have offered nothing.
Is our spinner any good Because we succumbed easily to a slow bowler of no big history or reputation
Durham when batting are historically not good against any type of slow bowler and because of lack of any patience or technique always enhance the reputation of any opponent spinner
It’s depressing watching the stream as we are now in deficit of three with Notts having 7 wickets left
 
With the likes of Strauss, Harrison and Key with a chip on their shoulder about the number of teams in the county championship you'd think the club would be desperate to get out of Division 2 and approach every game as an existential struggle for survival, but I'm not seeing it.

TBF the lad looks a huge prospect.
 
You'd think, with all the gobshites talking about reducing the number of county teams, we'd have been desperate to get out of Division 2 and treated this season, and every single match, as an existential battle for survival.

The team is actually weaker than last year, if anything.
 
Ice cream van wasn't even there last week. Just the tea and burger van. The place is like a building site. Question marks why they spent all that money tarting the ground up instead of strengthening the team.

Haven't seen the van today. I've put my coat back on up top in the county Durham upper. Not a great day today. Here's hoping for a strong last session.

From what I was told, the money was from the ECB which was received late. That said the ground is an absolute tip.
