Nobody in their right mind would have predicted 9 points from three of the best sides in the league below the top 7.

I also don’t really understand why Everton and Spurs are being focused on when the game before was also an away game which we won
Football is never predictable is it I mean Brentford went to Chelsea and hammered them. I mentioned Everton and spurs as you were f***ing shambolic in those games.

You've won a few games lately and fair play but you will still end up in the bottom 6 or 7 looking at your remaining games.

End of the day you're still a poor awful to watch bottom half premier League club just like me the others down there

And there you are regularly posting at 1am in the morning on a rivals board. Are these posts drink fuelled? If we are so
insignificant and play in a pub league why even come here?
What is this obsession that some of you lot have with people posting on a message board? Is there a specific time when it's deemed acceptable? Have you ever considered that I don't have anything better to do at that time of night? Not had a drink in over a month and no plans to anytime soon. It's not me saying you are insignificant or that it's a pub league. You must have me confuddled with someone else.

I might be a hypocrite as I post on another team's forum but for the life of me I can't understand why so many mags post on this site. I don't think there's a single Spurs fan that posts on the Arsenal forums and although I've never visited a Spurs site I'd be pretty sure it's exactly the same for them.

I just don't get why you'd post on a bitter rival fan's forum - even just to wind them up. Have they nothing better to do with their time?

I'm on here mainly for the SMB crack and I'll occasionally post on PF but I'm not going to come on here and try to wind up and piss off Sunderland supporters. Just seems small-time to me.
They are small time man still obsessed by league 1 Sunderland it's funny tbh

Anyone who doesn't toe the party line is a mag,
Where stuck in 3rd rung of English football and watching the worst team in our history .
No one mentioned the Yemen when Prince Abdullah of saud bought sheff utd a few year back.
Having a saudi owner would never be my first choice, but ffs get real
He bought 50% of sheff utd 9 years ago when did your lads kick off in Yemen?

Because Prince Abdullah isn't the tyrant dictator of Saudi Arabia.
MBS who own your club is.
It's not f***ing difficult.

Imagine if boris Johnson owned Newcastle. There would be uproar.
Now compare MBS to boris Johnson. He has no parliament, he makes all the rules. He presides over a nation who do not tolerate being homosexual. He presides over a nation with one of the worse human rights. He is a fascist that chopped up a journalist for writing negative things about him.
You lot love him. You're disgusting
And that is the honesty some of your fans wont admit to. 99% of the fans every club would welcome this investment. SAFC need an investor as Donald etc was just another Mike Ashley, he said the right things at the beginning! And your latest owner seems a bit invisible.
I note some of you think this Bloke is one of us in disguise, I sincerely hope not!
:D :D don't be daft.
Clubs wouldn't welcome it.
You believe it to make yourself feel better, but we know for a fact that bayern fans want nothing to do with qatar money. And MBS makes the qatar royal family look like mother Theresa.

You can spit your shit that other clubs (bar bayern munich) would welcome it.
You don't know. All we know is you lot do, and you're f***ing disgusting.
Horrible club horrible fans. Sold your soul. I wish you would fuck off from here as I used to love the craic with my mag mates, but anyone who supports and tries to justify not being against being owned by the ruler of Saudi Arabia ffs is a horrible horrible human being.

Truth is.. this whataboutery makes them feel a bit better about it. If they all wave a flag together at the match too they can have a bit of a sense of safety in numbers etc.

It's the uncomfortable truth they'll always have to wrestle with..its there..set in stone...no conscience..no morality..absolutely no care while money dominates...but always bare in mind..
ABSOLUTE CORRUPTION CORRUPTS ABSOLUTELY.

You might talk shite now but I loved your goal against the Scum in the 76 League Cup final.
Posted yesterday about Ghodoussi posting on LinkedIn. Response even worse than the morons you get on twitter. Over 1100 likes and thumbs up, two negatives comments including mine.
Sports washed, brain dead, even the 'cream' of the northeast business community apparently has swallowed the Saudi lie. Makes me less than proud to share geography with the scum.
Now over 1590 likes, though for balance, I now have 6 likes for my sportswashing post! They just get worse and worse, horrible, flag waving w*nk stains.

Think this girl needs to check the stats. Newcastle barely have the ball in the middle third! Linton’s best chance is against some middle aged non-footballers! Isn’t mag twitter a curious thing.

For all the hype and all these wins they're still not mathematically safe yet. If Burnley win tonight the gap closes to 12 with Burnley still having a game in hand and the mags still have Liverpool, Man City and Arsenal to play so there's 3 guaranteed defeats there.

Would be the greatest relegation of all time if, after all the smoke the media blow up their arses, especially Sky, they ended up getting relegated
Arsenal won’t beat us. City and LFC however will and probably by the proverbial country mile.

I get that, and the three you mention were intelligent signings, but was it really due to the approach or the fact bids were rejected?

It was well documented they bid for Carlos, Ekitike (sp?) and Botman. Maybe even Zapata at Atlanta? They would also were in for Lingaard and DvdB? Any of them could have gone tits up. I mean look at Thiago at Liverpool - it took him an age to adjust.

As I said before - Ekitike, Botman (and Carlos once Botman wasn’t a goer) and Lingard were bid for AFTER we signed Burn and Targett. They weren’t meant to be either or. Ideally we would have had more in but the window was so crazy and time so tight we had to make sure the sensible signings were brought in as a minimum.

How did you get in the boardroom mate? Bit dangerous wasnt it? You might have left in bin bags

Oh of course we will. I think we’ll finish 15th. No way we’ll be near top 10.

But we’ve won 9 of our last 12 which is impressive in any league, let alone a team with one win at Xmas.

Are you sure Burn and Targett were signed on 31/1? I remember checking whether Carlos would get a visa way before. Regardless you are missing the point - seldom do all signings bed in so quickly.

Sorry you’re right on Carlos. I meant Ekitike and Lingard. The deals for Burn and Targett were announced late but agreed earlier in the window.

Anyway I take your point, it was lucky that they settled in but then it goes to my point that Burn and Targett were established PL players and so always more likely to.

And notwithstanding the above, Howe deserves enormous credit for completely transforming the likes of Joelinton, Fraser, Schar, Willock and Krafth who were already at the club.

True- he has been miraculous in what he has done in achieving safety. But JoeLinton and Jonjo don’t get into a top six prem side or even a top half side.. Mags are second only to Burnley for touches in midfield third. Bypassing midfield is not a long term strategy.
