Unfortunately the Government won’t turn on the Saudis it was them that facilitated the sale they absolutely love the Saudis they can do what they want

Although I don't think a fall out between the UK/US and the Saudis is imminent, the relationship has definitely changed for the worse in the last six months.

It's been made worse by the Saudis refusal to increase oil supplies to sell to the west, with the reasons for this being both the US now engaging with Iran and MBS being a long term supporter and ally of Putin. So things could turn sour over time.

I dont know why you brought the horse punching thing into it. We know thats harmless banter thats been going on for years. You'll respond with "cry on Netflix" or something or "Leeg One"

Yes the fans who chanted about Johnson were idiots admiteddly. An isolated incident.

Anyway this is all came about by one of yours deflecting again straight onto Adam Johnson. The default response when tied up in knots about the hideous ownership

I am pretty confident also:

- haggling over money for backroom staff;
- not buying out Dan Ashworth now;
- not making Lille/Lyon offers they can't refuse and wanting to pay in installments;
- ending up with EH as the others weren't convinced;
- not convincing Emalano;
- all quiet on new training ground;

All of the above indicate they are cautious investors. They did what they needed to in the January window and fortunately for them everything has worked out. I've worked with PiF and they are investors. I am absolutely certain Mandy will be gone within 12 months, having got her payout.
