Given that murdering children, beheading ‘criminals’ and marrying 11 yo girls doesn’t put you off your owners what would ? Failure in winning something ???
Genuine question
Ok from another perspective, the Rueben's are Jewish as am I, the most oppressed race of people since the roman times, do I hate Germans? not at all unless their towel is on my sunbed, but answering your question is not easy. Am I placing my love for NUFC above my hate for the SA way, I guess so, I think its called turning a blind eye. What I did not see prior to the owners coming in was any mass anti SA demonstrations anywhere in the UK, at least none that made the news.
and yeah - guilty of avoiding answering fully.

What would it take you to stop using the internet, FB, Twitter, Starbucks, Shell....plus thousands of other brands, because each of them has PIF investment, there is a lot of irony on here, another irony is this who protest the loudest (FB/Twitter/instagram users) are all using platforms where the PIF invest in, rest assured they have put more money in many of these brands than they have in NUFC. Yet billions of anti SA people use them readily and daily!

I agree that walking away from the club you have followed for years will not be an easy decision, however how about just a bit more balance

Any criticism of owners is met with a passionate, blinkered defence.

Sometimes this is added to by a we can’t do anything about it we are just fans….there is actually lots you can do

Just as a start How about not signing a petition to have them become your owners, how about not partying outside the ground in tea towels when the takeover was announced.

How about using the platforms that supporters groups have such as wor flags etc to show the owners just how much you are against their human rights record, that you find it abhorrent.

How about bombarding the local MP as you did in attempts to have Ashley removed, with messages about how you want this regimes crimes highlighted and shouted about and that due to their human rights abuses they aren’t welcome?

No hate from me, no vitriol. A recognition that as fans walking away may be too tough for some……how about a response without the blind deference to the new owners and certainly whataboutery that gets thrown round.
superb reply this, absolutely spot on

You are a clown who doesn't understand finance! The money from the share purchases goes to the person selling not to the company.

Thank you for the financial lesson! and I thought you had a sensible approach! My understanding is the PIF where the I stands for Investment is exactly what they do across 1000s of brands including NUFC, they of course want to make money out of NUFC, hence the word investment....... but I bow to your clearly superior financial knowledge.

This takes whataboutery to level 11!

Invest in a minority of shares in many companies. Bought 80% of your club.

Big difference.

Aye, grand. I was finding it all pretty entertaining, but now we're tumbling down the tired old road with the same tired old shtick which is boring as hell.

Strawman arguments, ad hominem posts, and (the classic), stating I'm someone else entirely because there's a funny video of him losing his shit over cat treats at a co-op.

They're wheeled out by the usual crowd because they haven't the creativity to come up with a counterpoint, or an original gag.

Best thing to deal with all of that?
Don't come on here and talk shite

So absolutely no atrocities other than you not winning a shiny trophy 🏆 would make you complain about the owners ?
How exactly with this ownership who have absolutely zero affinity with Newcastle have you ‘got your club back’ ?
Genuine questions

Its intriguing isnt it how far would they go to defend the ownership. Joining forces with Russia? Nuking Yemen?

They will defend them to the hilt unless they don’t buy them the success they utterly crave. They are already best mates with Putin, we mean fuck all to them except for providing them with the means to kill.

Because you are spouting your nonsense whataboutery. I explain earlier that it was nonsensical but you came back with a long list of brands, the vast majority of which were bought in Q12020 and sold in Q2020 at a significant gain. Quit the whataboutery and you may fair better on here.

And would you complain if they bought Sunderland? 1% of you would and would walk away, but many thousands more would return. You can live on the moral high ground until you are blue in the face but that is a fact, and not just with your fans, every other club as well.....across the globe.
Have the fans got their club back, well lets just say it is going in the right direction, will we win the league anytime soon? I doubt that very much, that boat sailed away in 1996, but we will compete and that is all anyone can ask of their club.

See youve gone with the classic whatabout. "Everyone else would do the same"

"But constable, i didnt mean to.. everyone else would do the same anyway"

I am not getting your point at all, and I have no reason to want to fair better, as I say its generally a decent site and my interest in your club is family reasons, but oddly enough I don't see many posts about your U18s, U23s etc, which is where my interest lies.

How is it " a fact " when there is no evidence. It's your opinion and nothing more than that in your constant whatabboutery.

What do you want to hear? Here is how I see it, no I don't want to see fans working round looking daft with tea towels on their heads, no I dont want to see SA flags at games either home or away, and yes it would be a good thing if the Wor Flags groups did produce something against the KSA way, but yes I am pleased we have owners with a genuine interest to invest, their representatives have not missed a game since the takeover..... that just about sums it up to me.

There's a huge differnce in investing in companies (which anyone can do on the stock market) and owning a company.
