Gallowgate Flags and an account called Wor Hyem 1892 (i know...) were separate accounts that were united in organising the flags and displays. Eventually they just merged and became Wor Flags.

Very odd I went to many Lindisfarne gigs around the country and at the City Hall and "wor flags" never came into it. Bizarre how hijacking a concert like this (probably at least half the people there wouldn't give a shit about football)

Went to a few Lindisfarne Christmas gigs at the City Hall in the 70's and complete absence of Mag crap, apart from shirt worn by one of them.
It was about celebrating the North East not being a horse punching, camel worrier.
They were brilliant and not a flag in sight.
