Exactly mate.

Last time our stadium was half full (or less) for a league game was Feb 2005 for a championship game vs Rotherham on a Tuesday night

Since then we’ve had a record low points relegation season, a double relegation and 4 seasons in league 1.

There’s a twitter feed called something like “mackemdesperation” who only seems to post about how irrelevant Sunderland are to him 🧐🧐😂

I'm not sure what he's on about. There will have been people from Sunderland or who support Sunderland there. Desperate crack, basically.

Why do they constantly have to try to appease the thinnest-skinned fans in the country, even when out enjoying themselves away from football? Its very odd.

They've done it for years. Why they can never separate football and.....everything else in life and have to be "Geordies" first, ahead of functioning adult human beings is beyond me.
