The people on this thread are. You calling them all liars? We had this conversation weeks ago. We can’t speak for anyone but ourselves. What gives you the right?
Ive no doubt there are a lot of people that don’t give a fuck how many kids starve to death or get blown to bits as long as their favourite footy team win on a Saturday. It’s where we are as a society. Loads of morally bankrupt ignorant fucks as far as the eye can see. Question for you since you’re making assumptions. If the Russian government bought Sunderland tomorrow would you feel the same way as you do now?

Correct me if I'm wrong but they aren't owned by a government. They're owned by an investor group, that lass with the evil eyes and a couple of brothers. They had to provide legally binding documentation that they are separate from the state and if it turns out that they aren't the club can be taken off them like what's happened to Abramovich at Chelsea.

Convinced youre a bot now

You need to look a bit deeper if youre really interested. They are 80% owned by Saudi PIF. The chairman of the PIF is Mohammad bin Salman. Crown Prince and ruler of Saudi Arabia. Nothing in that country moves, eats, sleeps, farts or lives without his say so.
The other owners are PCP aka the Reubens bros who coincidentally are massive donors to the Conservative party and made the single biggest contribution to Boris Johnson’s election campaign. As for Stavely she is a go between out to earn a few Bob.
35,000 manufacturing jobs and oil are why the Saudis won’t be booted out, why do you think Johnson forced the deal through?
More hypocrisy from a corrupt government. That war in Yemen up to now has killed almost a quarter of a million people, way worse than what’s happening in Ukraine and for years and years. Hardly hear a peep on the news. (Maybe that’s because it’s brown people being butchered and we don’t have billions of arms deals with Yemen but I digress). Yet we still do business with the Saudis. Why do you think that is? The answer is two lines up. Just because our serially lying government gave it the go ahead doesn’t make it right or worthy of support, and it sure as fuck doesn’t make it ok To lowp about dressed lik a camel or threaten a woman whose fiancée got hacked to death for having an opinion.
Now since I’ve done me best to answer your questions, can you answer the one I asked you on the previous page please.

They aren't owned by the Saudi Arabian Government. Clubs aren't allowed to be State owned. It's the rules. That makes your question about the Russian Government irrelevant.

They are. It’s as plain as day. You see what you want to see. But anyway. Just to go along with you. The Saudis are top chaps and the PIF are run by ice cream salesmen from Jeddah.
Now
If the Russian government bought Sunderland tomorrow would you feel the same way as you do now?

Sportswashed, right here.

Cheap at £300 million

Offially they aren't. That's a fact. Doesn't mean you've got to like it.
They are owned by the Saudi government. You saying it on here won't make it go away. I'm sorry if this doesn't suit your agenda

Not according to the Premier League. They aren't listed anywhere as their owners. They aren't even allowed to own them. Read up on the rules if you dont believe me.

Terrorist apologist.
They can't though, same as the Saudi Arabian government can't buy them. It's not allowed so it's an irrelevant question.

Oh how will I cope
Because you'll sign more trippiers while children get killed by missiles.

But that's ok in your vaccum.
