If you know Saudi's then you will know that as long as you keep conversation focuses on non contentious topics like work, travel, cars, food, sport you are on safe ground. But once you go near topics such as religion, sexuality and politics it becomes uncomfortable as our views are polar opposites. It is hard to form an opinion on someone when your terms of reference are so narrow. You (and I) also get a false impression of Saudi as the ones we interact with are middle class who enjoy a very comfortable life in Saudi but there is huge income inequality - much worse than here. Privately they may not agree with MBS on many topics but they won't speak out as there is no human freedom (ranked 155th out of 165).

FYI - following a report, king of the road has received a warning for repeated and unfounded accusations of racism which has resulted in him being banned.
