When has he "took the piss" before? He’s probably out and about in London at the moment telling his pals how he managed to take the piss out of us for a second time.

As his first spell was coming to an end.You know, during those games where he’d lost interest but still picking up a canny wedge. When has he "took the piss" before?

1 goal in 14 to finish off his season.
Is it any wonder players just turn up and gan through the motions at Sunderland when you see the grief Defoe is getting for deciding he's finished at 39??
Some of the comments on this thread and elsewhere are really pathetic.
Mate it happens when theres lack of communication. Its happened countless times at this club over the last 5 years so no surprise its happened again

I think you've managed to get the wrong end of the stick of everything I've said.Like what attend a talk in with Nick Barnes. Tbf I'd go as well.
If you can't understand then just forget it.
Like what what does he play golf and is looking forward to getting back on the tennis court anytime soon?
Immediate retirement through a hamstring injury, that nobody is allowed to talk about. Well that seems reasonable and perfectly normalDon’t think they were allowed.
Hamstring injury apparently.
Ah well that's alright then, here lads don't bother have you seen what a tiny minority have said on a message board. Is it any wonder players just turn up and gan through the motions at Sunderland when you see the grief Defoe is getting for deciding he's finished at 39??

Well one of our players has just retired after joining late January and nobody really knows why. Is it because he thinks he can't physically do it, is he injured and that rules him out for the season, is there an issue with the manager or club and he's sacked it off early? What do you mean lack of communication?
It's almost like an aging striker playing in a shit team that were getting relegated wasn't able to contribute much anymore?
Are you new to this sport?

Was clinton baptiste on !!!!!What pudding? The soup was insipid, the main course ok, but needed to be bigger as no pudding. The talk was not revealing, although it was never going to be. The PA system shocking, and one guy did get up and shout this out. The roker hotel must take some crap for this. Defoe was going through the motions. Approx 300 people at nearly £50 a pop. Some that paid £65 for a meet and greet have been offered a credit off the next event (Quinn) as the meet and greet was cancelled yesterday morning. No mention of refund. As for the comedian I couldn’t tell you one line he said. poor night but good craic with mates ( just like going to the match).
Bullshit which young player is he keeping out of the teamMaybe when he came, his heart was ruling his head and after being out for so long he’s realised he’s not adding anything to the team and potentially keeping a young lad out that might be able to offer more. There’s no one more than me wanted him to succeed, but he knows his own body and he might have thought he just didn’t want to be an embarrassment. It’s a pity he didn’t get more service so he could have had an easy tap in, but the dream return didn’t work and we move on

If Benji is the answer, no matter how likeable he may be, then we're well and truly knackered.Maybe when he came, his heart was ruling his head and after being out for so long he’s realised he’s not adding anything to the team and potentially keeping a young lad out that might be able to offer more.
