They are very real fears I agree. Whilst the ownership group are chancers it was actually Short who destroyed the club. These guys simply couldn’t make the opportunity of a lifetime work.
They should never have been anywhere near this club. It was to big for them.

Arguably, but once you sell and lease back all your assets, sell all your best players etc etc the club could be but a shell of what it was.
Cashflow is the lifeblood of a club, turn it off and we won’t like the consequences.

Keep supporting the club get out of this league and let them walk away with the club still in tact.

That is very questionable at this moment in time. We've not renewed and are unlikely to do so after all of these years.. Breaks my heart to say it but there are better things to do on a weekend than suffer what is going on at the minute with the Club.
 
I haven't renewed, I cancelled the DD and emailed the ticket office including the following statement:

I would like to make it clear that my cancellation is down to two factors, neither of which are linked to performance on the pitch. Firstly, I am massively disappointed by the clear deceit that has been shown over the previous year regarding the ownership structure of the club, and following from that, secondly, I will not knowingly give money to the Madrox group.

I will look to renew when Donald, Methven and Sartori are no longer involved.

The ticket office acknowledged and said they would pass it on.

They won’t ! They know this is happening but surprisingly there will be new applicants to compensate some of the loss
 
I like many would be delighted to see the back of Madrox but as they’re prepared to hang on like a bunch of festering maggots I decided to renew. Even with promotion if we attain it I can’t see the Oxford mafia being able to sustain the losses the club will make and the will be forced to sell. I’ve supported the club for seventy years and will continue to do so until I go toes up.

I’m my cancellation I said it was because CM & SD remain at the club. I know they won’t read it/probably won’t care but it made me feel better atleast :lol:

Just in case your not being ironic.... What a load of utter nonsense! The January window closed with us having one fit striker! Even the clowns hoes running our club must have known that was idiotic!/money is the only reason for that failure....
