I'm interested in your logic. How exactly will non-atendance hasten the departure of SD and CM? Will they just hand their share over KLD? Not looking for an argument; I just don't get it.
The logic is that the less season ticket holders put in, the more the owners (Madrox 3 with 59%) would have to put in. With them not being the wealthiest, SD and CM probably couldn't fund their bit for very long before having to look for a sale.

I think not renewing might be the best way to go, but despite this I'm gonna renew. Absolute mug.

Suspect there won’t be a club left if we stop going
i don't know how old you are but how much support do you think we will have in 5 years time if we are still in league one!We are losing the young ones in drove.

its simple really the less revenue we have the more the ownership group has to fund the club out of their own pocket..once the cash from the parachute payments run out Donald will sell his shares as he cannot afford the upkeep!
Renewed. Couldn't imagine not going
3-4 years time in league one with 15000 crowds at the SOL will be a soul destroying experience! Will you be there then?lLke the scene in great expectations in miss Havisham's dining room we need a metaphorical fire to get rid of the vermin that run our great club!

It’s an interesting argument but I maintain that it’s the revenue from the fan base that will stop the assets being sold , the size of the fan base that will attract investment, the fans who provide the foundation for the club to take off again.
Going your route we may never recover, and it will be lose lose. As distasteful as it feels win win is the best way forward for the club so if the terrible due walk off with a return on their investment so be it.

This January window has shown how little the ownership group are willing to invest in the footballing side .....until that changes we are going nowhere without a huge slice of luck!
What will be your view if we are still in league one in two years time? How long do we have to wait?

When you look at the list of clubs promoted from this league since we’ve been down here it’s enough to make you weep.

Luton - just up from league 2 win the league
Charlton who were even more of a mess than us beat us in the playoffs.

Coventry - didn’t even have a home ground
Wycombe - enough said

Hull - another supposed basket case of a club who win the league.

With the best facilities, biggest budget, largest fan base etc etc we just continue to make a complete pigs ear of it.
Add Blackpool who had just got a new owner after years in the Oyston wilderness. One season with new owner and bingo... up they go.

Damned if we do damned if we don’t . However if we reach play offs this season that’s 3 out of 4, we have not been that far away even with the current shareholders. Arguably we have had the best squad in the division every year we have been down here albeit never the best team.
There has always been a feeling that we just needed a manager who could get the right balance between the street wise physicality of this league and delivering quality on the pitch which can be build into sustainable performances in the league above.
I think we have that now in Neil and I would rather go for it with what we have got than hold us back because the club can’t keep its head above the water... I don’t think we will be still here in a two years time.

Sadly if we don't go up this season..all our best players will be sold and we will still be here in two years time........... the shit will hit the fan when Stewart gets injured playing from Scotland! Ownership group has destroyed our club!

January will have been extremely expensive.

Money has not been the issue in league one.

Summary of League 1 transfer window, 22 teams spent less than us .....

Bolton 380K spent - 60k sold - net 320k
Sunderland 240k spent (Matete and Batth undislosed) net 240k plus
Wigan 35k (Magennis, Tilt and McGrath undisclosed) net -35k

You have a big stadium, one of the biggest in the premier league never mind the rest of the leagues in terms of capacity. To not renew season tickets or allow the crowd to get so low will make it appear like you're playing on empty compared to the smaller clubs who have tight grounds where 10,000 look like packed sardines.

If you love the club and you regularly go then, as bad as it seems at times, just keep going. You'll get back to better days and without being disrespectful, your team wins a lot more games than they did in the championship or the premier league.
Losing nearly every week is soul-destroying even in the higher leagues.
The quality of football may be much less in league one but you come away with feel-good win factors much much more and have something to strive for, which is, promotion by hook or by crook.
Embrace that as it is and just hope it pays off, which it will sooner rather than later, I think.

Keep the faith.

Renewed and I wouldn't mind betting most do if we go up and if we dont once a couple of positive signings are made. We are a fickle lot us football fans and ultimately the more we successful we are on the pitch the less we care about what happens off it

Are most of the fans renewing the season cards then being as KLD said very little at that last meeting as regards the key points that we were fuming about?

He will be pleased that its all died down for now.

Meanwhile the scum are still shareholders, Speakman and his crew remain, and nothing has changed. Only a slight chance of promotion now.
For my part, renewing has bugger all to do with the club's ownership or any grievances I might list.

I was here before them, hopefully I'll be here long after them. It's my club, not theirs.

As for the rest of your post, now's probably not the time. KLD has certainly listened on the pricing. We've appointed a new manager. Yes there is still a chance of promotion. For now we need to back the team, and we'll revisit the ownership and footballing hierarchy in the summer.
