Despite the self serving Boris Johnson not wanting to admit this, the whole of football outside of Tyneside and the general public generally needs to up the ante on the Saudi state via the PIF owning NUFC.

He knows full well who he is working for, how Khashoggi was murdered in the Saudi embassy in Istanbul and his body allegedly cut up by bonesaw and dissolved in acid and he must be blind and thick not to have read that the Saudi’s executed 81 people last weekend or how they treat minority groups.

Howe just epitomises how nearly everyone associated with NUFC just do not want to admit they are owned by a set of immoral, backward Middle Easterners with an appalling human rights record.

His squirming, embarrassed, stupid lying face says everything about the type of person he is. Clearly more interested in ££££££££ above anything else.

Hopefully more hard questions will be asked of this immoral individual….

Fully agree mate. But I will stick to the point made. I’ll be astonished if our government try to apply any kind of pressure on the Saudis. I’ll be even more amazed if they take any kind of meaningful action against them.
It’s up to public opinion and the media generally to make them look so bad that they up sticks and leave. Their sponsors need to be shamed into removing their deals, every time a head is removed from a body or a bomb is dropped on Yemen, or another child dies of starvation it needs to be on the front pages of every media outlet in the country. The premier league cave in needs to be investigated and the separation examined independently. Other clubs need to stop doing business with them. They need to be made pariahs for as long as the Saudis own them. Our government were instrumental in getting the deal through. They will do nothing to hasten it’s undoing. The fact that The KSA have been doing the same thing in Yemen as mad Vlad is doing in Ukraine ( only for a lot longer) means nothing to Boris or his chums.

I was shocked when their pride group did what they did. The gay lads and lasses I know are some of the most militant people I’ve ever met. Just emphasises that mags truly are a different breed.

If so then let's go all out and banish all football clubs and all sports and all the rest of the stuff made by countries we feel are not morally up to our standards.

Good question. Their records are pretty similar. Howe had the Russian money at Bournemouth where Neil had cook book royalties to play with at Norwich. Their records at Burnley and Preston are the best measure. There isn't much between them. With that in mind I'd probably edge towards the one that isn't an immoral tosser.
