Class that.

When I think of the best wrestlers who never won the big one I put him in that list alongside Diabiase, Owen Hart, Perfect. Hall could bring the best out in anyone.

He always reminded me of Jake the snake Roberts, a great heel who never got his chance with the main title or any in jakes case but actually never needed it to be seen as a top guy, they just simply were.

And Roberts should be in that list too. I know exactly what you mean, Hall was a great face as Razor considering he was a typical heel.
 
Jake and Scott had horrible lives. People just think demons spring out of nowhere, but those two carried some bad shit around with them their whole lives. Scott killing someone in self defense and Jake being molested as a child (and having a real life monster as a father.) Crazy they got into their 60s, really.
 
Growing up my all time favourite was razor Ramon such a talent it’s amazing to see him conquer he’s demons the way he has and at least if it is he’s time to go he finished it in a much better place than he was a few years back

Jake the Snake was one of the best promos. His promo during the macho man feud when he set the snake on him was quality. Haven’t watched wrestling in years. Never get as good as the 80s, early 90s and attitude era stuff.
 
As previously mentioned, Hall’s ladder match with Michaels is an all time classic and his part in the outsiders and the creation of the NWO is one of the biggest storylines ever in wrestling. Really had quite the effect without ever being given the top strap.

He had a cracking match with Bret Hart years ago as well. Should have really been pushed on to hold the belt. WWF wasted him on mid card feuds with the likes of Goldust and that later on.
