Apparently, whatever the question, 'Amanda Staveley' is the answer.

They're absolutely shameless but, inadvertently, they'll undo all the sportswashing with their own stupidity. Anyone looking at them and their antics will shake their heads.

I’ve been saying this for decades mate. Unless someone is disembowled or beheaded in their living room they don’t and won’t care.
The government deal with the Saudis, there’s little we can do about that except vote them out but successive governments from both sides of the divide have done the same. The MPs and councillors that fought for the deal with the mags are almost entirely Labour so even with a change of government I don’t hold out for a policy shift at that level.
The supporters however are different. They had a once in a lifetime opportunity to land a real blow against a despotic regime. Had they campaigned even half as hard against this deal as they did against the spawn of satan that is Mike Ashley and his human rights abuses ( aye they accused him of that) then it would have been a massive embarrassment and a slap in the puss for the Saudis and our corrupt government.
Instead though, they campaigned for them. Even a gay council leader and the NUFC pride group nailed their colours to the mast.
I don’t think I’ve seen such an abdication of moral responsibility since the rise of the Nazis and that’s not an exaggeration.
They are drenched in blood and the stench of death follows them like the fourth horseman of the apocalypse.
When the Saudis leave their supporters will have to bear the shame. And future generations will suffer for what their forefathers are doing now. Football folk have long memories. This won’t go away. In the present lifetime or the next.

If this is the price of a dodgy takeover then no thank you, the mags are going to become the most hated club in the country and unlikely to have any success to show for it. The Biden administration are also in cahoots now with Venezuela for the first time in years, thus the West will no longer need to have such a close relationship with KSA, and there should be more scrutiny of their dodgy ‘operations’.
