MBS is far far worse than abromovich.
He is a worse dictator than putin, has attacked Yemen in a totally one sided conflict with about 400k deaths and millions displaced and suffering.
He treats gay people and women worse than putin.
He treats journalists worse than putin.
He hates the west more than putin. SA exported extremism to the world

Having a twitter spat with a couple of the bone saw brigade, there's one positive from the saudi takeover, since MBS married his 13 year old cousin, they are hardly in a position to criticise the Adam Johnson scandal
Staggering the amount of mags trying to argue that the war in Ukraine is nothing like the saudi/UAE involvement in Yemen.
I guess the biggest difference is the death toll 330k in Yemen and we haven't reached anywhere near that number in Ukraine.

One even reckoned we should be sanctioned because the Dreyfus family had business interests in the UAE

"We should just concentrate on the football" is EXACTLY what the mags all want, it is the very definition of Sportwashing. The Saudis are unfit owners and the Mags are benefitting massively from their blood money - that IS about football. Do you think we should not discuss Chelsea's situation either in PF?

I think you’ve missed/misunderstood my point
 
It's unbelievable that the mags are regularly winning football matches with only low 30% of the possession.

To do it once in a backs to the wall / park the bus game against Man City or Liverpool fair enough. But the mags are doing it against the 'might' of Brighton and Southampton. Totally dominated, barely worth a draw and winning!

Then there is fact that they dodgily cancelled the game against Southampton a couple of months ago. Then 2 players who weren't signed at that time scored the goals to give them the victory! It is a scandal really.

I think what I'm trying to say is they're horrible, smelly, spawny bastards 😎

I doubt they care less what anyone else thinks. I know if it was us, I wouldn't. Ultimately Saudi is one of the UKs closest allies so there'll never be any sanctions against them like what's happened at Chelsea.

Fair play to them, they've pulled themselves clear of danger, whuch is easier when you can go and throw £100m about in a January transfer window but football is a million times different to what it was when Abramovich bought Chelsea and Abu Dhabi bought Man City. Back then the possibilities were unlimited but the Mags will have a ceiling. They won't be able to spend £100m every transfer window as they'll never generate that sort of money and the best players will always choose the Manchester clubs, Liverpool and the big London clubs ahead of them.

A best case scenario for them is probably about 6th and that won't be for a few more years to come. It's really not that exciting for them.
