Ukraine are still in a healthy position in this war, Russian economy is fucked and Russian mothers are grieving their sons by the thousands.

There's a chance Zelenskyy will be leading his country longer than Putin, make this war go bad for Russia and he might be able to deal with a different President of Russia than Putin.

Purely on game theory alone I'd let this run a bit longer to see what happens.

Sure I read somewhere Russia would find it hard to sustain ground operations past Sunday, which was yesterday. Might have been in that long Twitter thread with the translation from the FSB whistleblower?

Could explain why Russia are looking for an out now. It's generally accepted the longer it goes on the more Russia is fucked. If that's the case Ukraine won't be accepting terms that limit what they can and can't do in future, or make any compromises in accepting Russian interference in their leadership.
