France to start fast-jet training flights over Bosnia, says EU peacekeeping force

The European Union’s peacekeeping force in Bosnia, Eufor, has said that France will conduct fast-jet training flights over Bosnia amid the deteriorating international security situation, reports Reuters.
“The Charles de Gaulle Aircraft carrier is currently conducting operational training in the Mediterranean Sea and, from Monday 7th March, its Rafale aircraft will conduct overflights of the Western Balkans including Bosnia-Herzegovina,” Eufor said.
It comes after the EU last week announced it was increasing its Eufor force from 600 to 1,100 to prevent potential instability following Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
Bosnia is facing an increasingly assertive Bosnian Serb separatist movement that is understood to have received support from Moscow, the news agency reports. Like Ukraine, Bosnia has long said it wants to join Nato.

OOPS. Seem to have hit a nerve there. Shut up or put up.Must be my attitude, i never moaned about stuff. Want a better life ? Change it.

You seem a bit of a manchild to me. Be clear, the Tories willingly opened Pandora's Box with Brexit. They have caused division, strife and economic misery for many (including me). Brexit's consequences may slip under the surface from time to time, but it will keep raising its ugly head because of its continuing harm.

In other news, SLAVA UKRAINI!!

For those who didn't know, like me, the SU30 is one of these and this is what I've just found looking on Tw@tter

I think this is valid to the thread.
Throughout my adult life, I have been a strong advocater of nuclear weapons, purely as I, and most strategists, thought that while the opposition had them, then any major war would be averted as mutual decimation would ensue, and they would never be used.
Turns out I was wrong, because even though Russia are waging a terribly unjust war on a neighbour, we won't do anything just in case they use them. My argument of mutual nukes, to stop war is totally defunct. It is purely serving as a way of stopping us getting involved. Go figure.

I agree.

Invade Ukraine & do nowt as don't want WW3.
Invade Moldova next & do nowt as don't want WW3.
Invade Finland...
Invade Sweden...

Etc. At what point would a brit, French or American be willing to risk a nuke?

Something fishy is certainly going on.Russia should of took much more territory by now.

Maybe nothing fishy at all.

There’s allegedly 120k Russians deployed whilst Ukraine mobilised 500k reserves in the immediate aftermath of the invasion and then conscripted the male populace.

Zalensky saying the entire Russian army is being held at bay when US estimates suggests that 15% of Russians forces are deployed at most.

Unless there’s a peace which concedes an awful lot to the Russians the conflict is only going to go one way and will unfortunately be very costly.

Its a horrible game of brinksmanship where its clear Putin has zero regard for the human life of his own citizens. We can't win it that way, that's for sure.
Like Hitler, if it was going tits-up, he'd regard his own people of not worth living and a scorched earth policy would likely be employed.

more abandoned russian gear. on the second image the wagon has 2 antenna, which means it's some command vehicle. 2 antenas means it will be talking over 2 radio networks, like at a troop level and a squadron/regimental level.

the first one doesn't have any radio antena at all, so either it's been taken off (doubtful) or it was playing "follow my leader".

What is the wooden pole strapped to the side of the second tank.

You’re thinking about it wrong.

Russian nuclear weapons are proving to be a deterrent as the West won’t get directly involved.

Having jumped first Russia has pole position. They had arguably nothing to fear as Ukraine is denuclearised and there a no binding agreement of support for Ukraine.
