Russia invading Ukraine (NEWS/UPDATES)

Just read about WW2 man.

The Germans came within a whisker of smashing them to #### with far far fewer men and machines to call on.
Only winter coming 2/3 weeks earlier than normal saved Moscow from being taken.
All the other major battles afterwards just saw Russia throwing men and machines pell mell at the Germans like at Kursk, and eventually, having much larger reserves of men and machinery told.
The Germans were always going to struggle to get supplies over such a huge area, particularly when the Americans entered the war and they needed bigger defences on the Western front.
Even when Goebbels and Speer announced a "total war" economy, they simply didn't have the manpower to keep producing armaments and aircraftnto supply.
This, coupled with a never-ending supply of Russian fighters was only really going to make it very difficult, once Blitzkrieg doesn't achieve all but instant results.

allegedly... another high ranking, professional soldier killed (for nothing)

"The commander of the 247th Guards Airborne Assault Regiment, Guards Colonel Konstantin Zizevsky, was killed. This was announced by the head of Nevinnomyssk Mikhail Minenkov"

expert on Sky was saying 2 colonels and a 2 star general were shot by a sniper and that they should have been no where near the front and obviously had been sent there to see what the hold up is.

There simply has to be a point where the army top brass start to question Putin happily having his own forces being used as cannon fodder. Get the fucker bumped off and the world will rejoice.

Anyone know what the deal is with the Nazi type soldiers in Ukraine? The Azovs. Are they still about? If so, can they be on the front line.

Will change nothing as other gansters will try to take control leading to many more innocent lives lost..
But said Gangsters will only be interested in their material possessions - which arrived following the fall of the USSR. Putin is harking back to the 70s when these fellas will have been skint.
