The Guardian podcast today in focus has a report from its correspondent in Moscow talking about how the "peace keeping action" is being reported to the Russian people
A completely different story, media outlets are not allowed to use the words invasion or war =or they'll be shut down.
Basically the Russian people are being fed truck loads of bullshit
Many are getting there news from twitter, facebook, telegram or western news outlets

. The narrative to ordinary Russians is 'this is a miltary operation to free Ukraine of Nazis which targets only military bases'. Obviously Putin can't hide from them the fact the economy is collapsing, but he can spin it to make it himself look sane and reasonable and it's all the fault of the wicked West.

As a sidenote, it's interesting to see who Boris "Two Flags" Johnson's prototype was for the flag shagging in his controlled media spins is.
