I think I checked it out a few years back, when all the terrorist attacks were going on and Sellafield was a target, but seemed that it's not an ignition situation. Still a bit of a worry.

If you look at Figure 3 in this linked document you will see 2 main things.

1) there is a lot of gas under and in the sea off Crimea

2) there is a big gas field running from Donbas in the SE across to the NW and this is precisely where the Russian army are now sitting.

I am sure this is just a coincidence though.

The reactors require lots of external stuff to remain cool. I have no idea what the electrical situation is in that area, but if it’s off grid then the diesel generators will be providing the backup for any cooling process.
 
A good sign is that the car park (?) lights are still on. Unless they’re running off generators themselves (which is a possibility), it would look like there’s still power from the grid.

The reactors themselves aren't in trouble, if they were then it would be a case of egregious friendly fire as the fallout would easily reach Crimea, Luhansk, Donestk, even the southern Russian cities like Rostov. The aim is to cause a nationwide blackout rather than cause a radioactive spillage.

Again, a fire in itself normally isn’t bad. On site fire crews and then the fire service will turn up as a priority. However, unless the Russians have considered this and have brought their own appliances with them, then I’d be very surprised if either the on site responders are in a position to react and nor will the external fire service.

Looked like they opened fire, caused a fire, emergency services attended but got stopped and buggered off then the Russians opened fire on the building again when they went.
