At what point do we actually do something though. In reality we are stuck doing nothing until he takes the first shot. By then it’s too late.
Honestly it seems to me like we are saying we are terrified of him incase he kills us all but not bothered if he kills all of you lot (Ukrainians).
Before I get a time out from thread again I know no one is actually saying they are not bothered about lives being lost but the fact remains that there is, illegally, very close to home and by a walloper who as already threatened us directly.

Anyway that’s all I’m saying cos I got a hammering last neet for suggesting we take the war to them.

Il continue collecting knitwear for the kids.
We won’t. Not going to happen. Putin will get what he wants.

But we’re world leaders in sanctions iirc. Boris sympathisers on here repeatedly say so.

More World leading

I Listened to interview with the former Russian foreign minister Andrei Kozyrev last night, on Maddow, he called London "Londongrad" & reckoned the UK government has been complicit with Putin for years.

The thing is, we are doing something. We are probably inflicting more hard to Russia than fighting grunts on the streets of Ukraine. But I also get why you would think this as the retaliation you want is visceral and one in similar nature to what they are doing.
No military action doesn’t mean no discernible action.

Don’t agree. At all.

Of course it has. They’ve virtually funded the Tory party in its entirety for the last 5-7 years. £2.3 million in donations, private parties for our current PM who makes a KGB officers son a lord, golden visas, investments in Russian banks, the lot.

Then there’s the report into Russian election interference that Brexiters for some reason are desperate to keep hidden and which Johnson refuses to release.

Then people on here still bleat on about how tough we’re being. They’ve swallowed the misinformation hook, line and sinker.

They’ll take Kiev shortly and likely kill the president but I highly doubt they’ll be able to keep it.

Yeah but what are we actually doing? Yeah Johnson announced some sanctions last week but how many of them has he actually implemented? How many assets have we actually frozen? Abramovich has chosen to divest chelsea - he certainly hasn’t been made to do it by the government.

Instead we get the Home Secretary refusing to allow Ukrainians in as refugees - music to Putin’s ears I’m sure.

It’s the easiest thing in the world to talk bollocks in the commons then do nothing about it.

I find their hatred of us odd considering they are all in cahoots.
Just telling you a former senior official in the Russian government said about the UK & the UK governments relationship with Putin & Russia
The interview isn't on the MSNBC website but you can listen to it here, make of it what you will

If you hate the people on here so much why are you permanently camped out on here? All you ever do is slag off unspecified ‘people on here’, talk about brexiteers or Boris Johnson. You’ve added nowt to this thread. I’m sure you’re better than this.

Depending on who you listed to Stoli isn't actually Russian, the company who own it are based in Luxembourg...although the Russian government dispute it.
Turns out you are correct "The Stoli Group manufactures Stolichnaya vodka. Although the liquor is marketed as Russian vodka, Stoli is actually manufactured in Latvia and has operations in Ukraine and is headquartered in Luxembourg"

Even better, dont have to change.
