China's next move I think will be very telling moving forward, be interesting to see how it pans out, I think seeing the world united will temper any thoughts with Taiwan for now and refocus the work towards influence via investment.

I agree. But it seems this is total war now. The Russians started that when they brought in shells and rockets to rain down on cities indiscriminately

Only a POW once they have surrendered, since its Special forces and not normal troops, the mission will be to destroy and move on I guess. SAS did the same thing with regards SCUDS in Iraq, search and destroy.

Saying it, and doing it, are 2 completely different things mate.
However, they may think that the moral high ground is worth fuck all, if the rest of the world just sits and watches while they are decimated.

Sensationalism on twitter would suggest it's all going Ukraines way but unfortunately I think that article nails the situation at this moment in time.
Barring a surrender and a peace deal suitable to Russia, the Russians will take Kiev and go south and connect with their other forces and split Ukraine in two.

Degrees are nothing to crow about and certainly nothing to feel inferior about if you don't have one.
Very much respect your opinions and thoughts mate for what its worth, it's very evident how much thought and research is involved in them.
China has been investing a lot in infastructure in Africa, which in 20-30 years time or so could be very significant.
(If were still alive of course )
