Russia invading Ukraine (NEWS/UPDATES)

6 days of sat in essentially a traffic jam. Nowhere to piss, nowhere to shit, nowhere to shower, no idea what the fuck is going on, you’re told you’re on exercise, your mobile phone has been taken off you so you have no idea what’s going on. They’ll obviously click that shit is getting awry. Whem they set off it will have been class. They’ll now be looking up wondering when drones are going to vaporise them.

“No where to shower” an interesting comment I’ve also read on other posts, now I’ve never seen frontline action but I’d suggest that demonstrate how little we all know about real life for frontline troops

I reckon the convoy has ran out of fuel.

Some of their equipment may well run on Kerosene. Not all of it might be commercial diesel.

And even if it is commercial diesel supply chains are fucked in Ukraine because the bastards have caused a massive war so probably can’t just nip down to Texaco with a Jerry can

They may have to increasingly transport fuel from Russia if domestic fuel supplies cease due to the war

Suspect that is to ramp up people opinions against Putin.
Its staggering to understand the end game for Putin now.
Invading a neighbour which not only was more difficult than expected, but to contain its people long term is simply not possible.

Putin has galvanised the west, ensure Ukraine is his worst enemy living next door, destroyed his economy.

Madness

A lot of people here getting quite bullish on Ukraine's chances (they're doing brilliant so far) but here's a good thread from the Russian "intellectual" side which is rather a depressing read.

That group of lads must be wondering what the fuck they’re supposed to be doing. They’ve been sat in a six foot square cab looking at trees wondering what the fuck is going on. It’s almost a humanitarian disaster those dopey kids sat on that motorway,
