There seems to be this current of avoiding loss of life at all costs, but if we had followed that doctrine during the 1930s, we would be speaking German now.

After Ukraine what next? Where does Putin stop if Ukraine roll over. Georgia? Moldova? Finland?

Surely we cannot appease dictators like this.

Just because something has always been the way doesnt mean its the right way...the very premise of evolution is to evolve and improve. Whats very clear is that theres a big majority of people on this planet who oppose war and don't see it as the answer, its time for the powers that be to listen to that and fight in a different way. I’m against war but I also believe that those who want to fight invaders have every right to do so. I love what you’re trying to say but you’re in a tiny minority so I’d support the will of the people. None of them want to give up.

we will have to agree to disagree on evolution. You don’t inherit behaviour such as pacifism you inherit instinct. It’s a mans instinct to impregnate as many times as they can and provide safety from both their young and the mother of their young.

I know what you mean but China have already raised concern over the west’s meddling and the economic sanctions imposed on Russia which they do not agree with. Even If Russia have no economic power they will always have the threat of nuclear.

Also will the west want or choose to trade with Russia and if so on what grounds that Ukraine becomes an EU nation?

How Russia react after Ukraine will largely depend if it can forge great alliance and trade more with the likes of India and China etc…

I agree, if people want to fight then that is up to them, on the flip side, don't expect others to join that fight to help you. You say none of them want to give up, they weren't given a choice, I'm sure the majority of people in Ukraine don't want to be in a war and wish there was another way of sorting this out. Ukraine has been at war with Russia for years, 14,000 killed prior to this escalation....are you really telling me that I'm in the minority of people who don't want to fight?

Evolution...yep, ew have instinct, what separates from the animals is free will, we can control that instinct...everytime someone pisses you off do you shout and bawl at them or punch their face in? That there is controlling your instincts. Your argument for evolution is sounding pretty stone age and neanderthal.
