Reports that 75% of Russian military is now in Ukraine. Appears they are going for the hammer approach
Nukes aside it would be f***ing hilarious if China grabbed Siberia now.

Not to derail this thread, but the Lords defeated a couple of things last night, including criminalising refugees based on the method they arrive in the country, such as on a dinghy. I’ll put a post in the PF to discuss as it’s a fairly big deal.Slightly political but any sneaky laws or legislations been passed in the last few days?
Gotta remember it's not all failure for Russia atm. The force who came from Crimea are having massive successes, as they're backed by warships as the geography allows.
They're 1 major city away from bridging Crimea with the rest of the separatist and Russian borders down there, the Neo Nazis are holding are holding said city but even connecting Crimea to Russia would be considered a W
Yeah I asked the mods (who appear to be asleep) to delete that post 15 minutes ago.Not to derail this thread, but the Lords defeated a couple of things last night, including criminalising refugees based on the method they arrive in the country, such as on a dinghy. Still given their military superiority they have not yet done it and I am sure are well behind their own expectations of how long it would take. This whole thing was expected to be in the bag within 3 days.Gotta remember it's not all failure for Russia atm. The force who came from Crimea are having massive successes, as they're backed by warships as the geography allows.

“nukes aside”.Nukes aside it would be f***ing hilarious if China grabbed Siberia now.
I’m sure we are getting Ukrainian biased reports but it would seem an abject utter disaster on all fronts.Gotta remember it's not all failure for Russia atm. The force who came from Crimea are having massive successes, as they're backed by warships as the geography allows.

Nuke Ukraine, take out 75% of the Russian army and then walk into Russian and renamed it Ukraine mk2Nuke Russia now. While they are busy.
Ok then, you give the order and be responsible for the worst atrocity in historyNuke Russia now. While they are busy.
Many said at start this was a potential end game. East Ukraine "liberated" plus Crimea land linked to Russia & a new warm water naval base at Mariupol.
Honestly if you were Zelensky would you take that at min?
Terms were apparently disarm, become neutral & give us Crimea. I might agree to last 2 but in fact get a solid neutral army as self defence force a bit like Finland or Japan.
Potential huge gains long term for Ukraine (once rebuilt) I think as a new sort of Switzerland sitting between East & west.
So your saying don't nuke Russia.Ok then, you give the order and be responsible for the worst atrocity in historyit’s ok you’ll probably have about 2 minutes to ponder over your decision before you’re fried alive with a retaliating warhead heading straight for us and several other countries

100 billion percent don’t nuke them!So your saying don't nuke Russia.
Some military expert on 5 live was saying just that. He reckons that faced with a whole city motivated and armed is extremely difficult.
I agree and what a depressing thought. Odessa is beautiful. Admittedly I visited years ago and it’s apparently changed a lot now. Supposed to be a bit like Ibiza etc.I genuinely think the outcome of the entire campaign is that Russia will annex Kherson, Odessa, and Mariupol (Ukraine aren't getting them back ever in our lifetime anyways) which bridges the gap from Crimea to the eastern regions, said annexed regions will become fully recognised and the rest of the areas will go off into the opposite direction with the EU.
Both sides will claim a W as a result.
What if the wind changesAnother layperson question alert:
If he drops nukes on Ukraine, won’t Moscow get the fallout because of wind direction?
Zelensky's main aim since getting elected has been getting back Crimea so he won't be able to claim it as a win.I genuinely think the outcome of the entire campaign is that Russia will annex Kherson, Odessa, and Mariupol (Ukraine aren't getting them back ever in our lifetime anyways) which bridges the gap from Crimea to the eastern regions, said annexed regions will become fully recognised and the rest of the areas will go off into the opposite direction with the EU.
