My boss sent me an update from the lad who lives in Kyiv
Hello John.
In general, the situation in Ukraine is very difficult. In Kharkiv and Kherson, the Russians are shooting civilians and shelling houses with "Grom" rockets. In Kharkiv and Kherson, the Russians are shooting civilians and shelling houses with Grom rockets. Kyiv is shelled every day and night in the same way, there are sabotage groups of opponents who are constantly trying to damage the city or put special marks on houses and military facilities, which will be used for firing rockets. For example, all weekend we were not allowed to leave our houses or shelters because there was fighting in the city. So while I was working on the project, I periodically heard loud shots and explosions outside my window. Recently I hosted a family who lost their house in a nearby town near Kyiv because there was heavy fighting and when the Russians were retreating they started shooting at houses and hit a nearby gasoline truck, it exploded and some houses around it were destroyed so they asked my friends for help and since they knew I could help them, they are now staying at my house until they can solve their problems. My father is on the front line and now I also take care of my sister and mother.
All in all, things are not doing very well, but I am hanging in there as I have to be strong and take care of my loved ones.
About your project, I can't stop working on it and there are several reasons for that. One, because it helps me get away from things a little bit and I want to do this project because it's very interesting to me and it's very important to you. And the second reason is, after all, this is my job and if I stop working on projects, I won't get paid next month. I hope you understand.
I very much hope that this war will end very soon and we will return to normal life again. And I am very grateful for your support and help. Thank you.
Unfucking believable!!!!
